***Public Service Announcement from the Warrior of Light: ***
To those of you who call the coastal region of Carolina your humble abode or have family there, I'm issuing a warning of the highest crystalline tier. Garuda and Leviathan have been summoned in a auspicious ritual unknown to Eorzea and have fused together creating the the primal we've dubbed Florence. Those of you you who are strong enough to surf the Aether currents as means of movement, carry with you as many people as you can and flee to the safest city state you can get to. This new Primal is dangerous and as such I need the help of others like me from a different world to defeat it. The amount of warriors I have to gather will take too much time I'm afraid and we won't arrive before Florence is able to start his terrible attack on the land. I pray for your safe journey. May the Gods be with you.

Probably won't be that bad, but the area is inadequately prepared for dealing with storms. As far as I know, only the coastal areas have had mandatory evacuations ordered. Not looking forward to no power in 80+ degree weather or the loss of income this storm is going to bring. >_<
(Though thanks for making the situation somewhat funny by translating it into a primal threat. Not sure if intentional, but made me chuckle.) -

I got family living just outside Northfolk, their leaving today too stay with a friend who lives further in land. They got two youngsters and a third on the way so the possiblity even if remote of them losing their home is not good. Prays to them and all others out there on the Eastern seaboard.

My cousin (a fellow WoL), his family and his parents all live in North Carolina. I don't remember exactly where they live, so I don't know if they have to evacuate or not. Regardless, I'm praying for their safety as well as for everyone else in the Carolinas and Virginia.

Agreed, I'm in NC too, and luckily for us (unluckily for SC) although I was in the direct path I'm now in the tropical storm reaches only due to the shift. I hope my power isn't out for too long! Thanks for the humourous post, I especially laughed at the water crystal post. XD

Sucks as a girlfriend of mine just took her family to South Carolina for vacation, only to have to evacuate and go to Tennessee to continue their vacation.
Where I live, we gonna get hit with hevy rainsa and all by monday or tuesday, but I'm so used to it by now.
