So I waited several months for an app that won't even run on my phone?
This is depressing.
Edit: I downloaded the APK seperately from the Google Play store and it runs perfectly on my phone. SE fix your stuff pls.

If you just want the app so that you can connect your character for the free teleport, you can download this Android Emulator and then login your character.

Like if SE doesn't upload a version compatible with your device, then the Google Play store won't let you download it. My guess is that they developed it with a middleware to allow it to work on Android and iPhone, and the middleware has to create separate binaries per GPU and CPU like Unity does. If your device doesn't have the right GPU, it will still work, but it will use a software emulation layer, thus it will likely crash frequently and have poor performance. Hence, the risk of using an APK to bypass the device requirements.Quote:

I have an OG Pixel XL updated to Android 9 (Pie). I was able to download it, but it crashes on startup. Uninstall/reinstall didn't help.

I was having this issue too. My Galaxy S6 the app doesnt event get listed. Tho on my Galaxy S8 it does. Ill have to manually download the apk too.. just to use as a chat room.. since rest of the stuff is pointless for those of us who stay logged in...
Even discord works faster for chat compared to the app. =( -

It was working for me when my phone was on Android 7.1.
Then I upgraded to Android 8.1 and it's no longer compatible with my device.
SE please consider making the apk a downloadable file from the Mog Station. -

join the club. Iphone 7+ 10.3.1 . Won't update due to app compatibility (that and I don't buy the new about OS 12). App CRASHES every time I try to boot it. Has since it came out. No 4th favored destination and no special emote=no $5 sub from me because I cannot link if the app crashes every time I try to launch (store says OS 8.0 is the minimum BTW).
