I see a lot of people who complains about the kuponut/coin payment for the usage of the MB in the app, and while I do understand why it is there I do agree that it is a little too steep. My suggestion is to instead of one kupo-nut giving one transaction it should give the player 1h access to doing MB transactions. By doing this you make it realistic for people to use the app to handle their MB needs while they are at breaks at school or at work while still forcing people who are looking to use it all the time as a substitute to log into the game to pay up money for further usage.
This system would also make it feel worthwhile for people to both sub for the extra kupo-nut per day, but also to buy further usages for when they are on trips, etc as it would offer them better value for their money.

it's still completely ridiculous that there is any monetization to just using the companion app. WoW has an app that dose this and more, and it's completely free last i knew. if the companion app was free to use it would be seen as a service to the players who are already buying and subscribing to their game, but now it just looks like a cash grab.

But the current model is way too strict and does not let people use the MB function almost at all. If one nut gave 1h access it would still effectively be preventing people from doing nothing but undercutting, but it would make the app useable, and further purchases feel worthwhile.Quote:

Even EA let people put things for free in there FIFA Fut app without restriction. Kinda painfull to say it like this...
But the app is kinda perfect for FFXIV. New things added with almost no Features, just like the last patches :P. That was kinda lame from me XD -

I'm not saying I wouldn't use it, but the best value are for end-game people that are trying to dominate market boards. If they want access to log-in on their phones during work or school etc. hours then it can help them shift more products and spend less time sorting stuff out during in-game and therefore can craft.
This is going to be best used for people who spend most their free-time/resources/money playing this game, and who are willing to try and become even richer. I'm guessing the company is trying to make as much money off that small core group of players (sub 100,000) that are willing to buy everything related to the game.
Should be a euro/dollar for like one extra retainer, and then two for the premium system. It can't really be worth the price outside of that. Can't see it lasting a year/ -

The fact that the Kupo nuts are capped at 2 (10 for premium. . . ) and the Kupo coins aren't capped at all just show how bad this app is and how greedy SE is.

The Remote AH, as it was known, was retired earlier this year...and while it was free, it didn't start that way, running about $3 a month for the first couple years it existed. So, I did check this app out ... and rn as it is ... it isn't worth the install.
You can do very little with it ATM in regards to retainers. The most you can do is sell and buy. Aaaand ... that's it. The Premium isn't even out yet.
The prices for the mog coins are comparable in my part of the world (starting at .99 USD) and you get 5 mog coins. Adding that with the ONE kupo nut for a log in EACH DAY ... nah.
If you are a person who very occasionally sells things or wants to keep an eye for an item you want to go down in price, then snag it up while you are at work ... it's okay. For those who are avid crafters, or sellers looking to make coin in game? Just log into the game and do it there.
I will be a guinea pig once the Premium comes out to let you know if the price for that is worth paying for.
