Boutique Batiste?

Anyone know where to get it?

The pants are an unholy abomination, but I want the shirt. I'm assuming the material drops in Canals, but I didn't see anything on the patch notes indicating that they'd updated drops from there. It seems a bit odd to come out of Eureka.

The mats drop from lockboxes in Eureka at a low rate. Or at least only the mats to make the male set.

A friend and I managed to gather the mats from our lockboxes to make the male pants. I kind of regret making it now though, because I doubt anyone even wants it, ha.

(Meanwhile everyone has already made half a dozen of the female set in our server, while only one copy exists of the male shirt and pants.)

That’s because the female version came out with the previous patch, and the materials come from treasure maps and the Lost Canals. I don’t think I even managed to sell the leather I got a few weeks back.

Ugh, I'd like to point out that Canals is a much easier grind (esp with how often portals open and the mats dropped) than Pagos. Maybe Pagos will pick up but so far that's kind of nonequivalent there... *sigh*

But thats how it was at first with the Canal-mats aswell? Theres a reason the dress was selling for 15 million or more on my server at least.
Mats will be rare for a few weeks and after that you wont even consider selling them anymore, because the 3k gil are hardly worth it ;P

I mean, when the first mats were added to canals I was still ~ilvl 350 and they'd raised the canals cap to 370, so it was a breeze to blow through. Even on a run with only ~3-4 portals, we had 2-3 pieces of each drop.

Pagos is such a slog (unless there's mechanics we haven't discovered yet, which I'll be fair that there could be) that getting lockboxes is going to be a pain, and even then half of the drops are going to be materia and fireworks.

I’m guessing it might involve those bunny treasure chests, once people are leveled enough to pursue them.

I havent been into Pagos yet, but does this mean that lootboxes dont drop from FATEs anymore...? Because if its anything like Anemos, I can promise you that the price is gonna drop faster than a stone I throw from my balcony. I have 500 unopended Anemos-lootboxes in my inventory, because they cant hold anything of intrest anymore.
The cloth is tradeable - give it a week and the marketboard will most likely be flooded with it.
Honestly, Eureka-lootboxes are giving you better chances at this than maps, since they're kinda unlimited (seeing how you can only get one map per day).

The issue is that unless there's a level of mechanics we have yet to discover (which, again, on day 2 is possible), fates are no longer quick spawns like they used to be. In a standard 1.5h run, you might get... 3? 4?. Maybe more as the levels go up and we get more familiar with things, but this whole "leave after an hour with 200 lockboxes" doesn't currently seem to be an option. Depending on the rarity, we could be looking at something that's on par with trying to get the hairstyle from HoH, which is still going for upwards of 2-4 mil.

That's why I'm annoyed. I'm not going to gripe that it has no place in Eureka, I just feel like there's a disparity between getting the mats for the quaintrelle's stuff and the boulevardier's stuff.

To be fair, the mats are listed as 2 star items.

Once the FATE trains get rolling, I expect prices to drop like a rock.

I got a Boutique Batiste from the first Pagos lockbox I opened. There was one other already up on the market board besides mine, both sold immediately for 6 million gil. D: I've opened 20 more boxes since then but have only got materia after that.
