Nightmare is my favorite mount, the coolest of them all. And I don't understand why Nightmare has no music too, some nightmarish music would be nice.
C'MON!!!!!!!!!!!!! MAKE NIGHTMARE FLY ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If they can take the time to make the Grand Company PVP horses fly, they should be able to make the primal ponies fly. They didn't even give the pvp horses particle effects like they did with Sleipnir, so what's the hold up honestly.

I like the idea of the Nightmare being endowed with the ability to fly. It's a neat looking mount and their riders get emotionally attached to them.
Also, I have to admit another idea popped into my head when I read the title to this thread. A mount which looks like a bugaphobe's worse nightmare of a bottle fly would be awesome. Could you just imagine what FFXIV's art dept. could come up with? It could even pick us up and carry us like that magitech claw mount. Bzzzzzzzz. -
