Why is there a drought of Casters when you're trying to get one? I don't really understand it.
i don't think there is one, any examples? find one for what?
I actually think I am almost fighting for a caster / ranged spot on chaos dc, not sure about others.
At least players arent locking out BLM here.
Just take a machinist, you'll be fine.
on the EU servers, casters are the first Dps to join..., there are imo too many casters here... , the caster spot is usally filled early. (mostly rdm and smn)
Reporting in from Aether. Casters everywhere.
Actually caster DPS is the only role where there are 3 possible jobs fighting for a single party slot, which funny enough is very often locked out to another physical ranged DPS (MCH).
Pretty much every Savage PF I'm in has at least 2, if not 3 casters in it.
almost every roulette im in these days has too many casters in it. i'd say there's a lack of melee.
Results of two years of "casters are bad" echo chambers throught the community I guess?
Reporting in from Lamia, no drought here. Don't know where you got the idea of a caster drought with no solid proof of it.
Main reason why I dont do savage anymore is because finding group take more effort than clearing the content as caster.
Ain't see a problem with finding casters. Before maintenance, I was in a party with a RDM and SMN.
It was nice 'cause no BLM.
Now finding parties that aren't memeing with no duplicates this late in the tier even on progression is another story.
It's not that there are a shortage of casters. The problem is finding a reliable caster player who can output a substantial amount of dps and make use of the tools that the caster role chosen provides.
I think it is mainly because of gearing system in this game. Casters share same gear, ranged same, monk/sam same, drg and ninja have their own separated set. If you want your group gear fast as possible you wanna use 1 caster, 1 ranged, and what ever two of melees that not have samurai and monk on the same party.
