We also got Ifrit and Moogle trailers. I see us getting preview videos for 1.21 content.

We have 2 new dungeons coming in 1.21 which was supposed to be due this week, but has been delayed 'til the end of the month.

For the previous intention of 1.21 being released this week we haven't be baited with much info or sneak-peeks. It's just a jab at SE saying "Hey we want something to get excited about"

The Dzemael Darkhold preview came out 11 days before the patch did.
The Ifrit preview came out 3 days before the patch did.
The Good King Moggle Mog XII preview came out 4 days before the patch did.

Notice how close the previews were released to the actual patch days?

We still have at least ~3 weeks until patch 1.21 comes out. Patience, my friend!

I can't speak for everyone, but the Letter from the Producer, XXIV got me plenty excited for 1.21. I don't mind waiting for the patch, because it has tons of neat content that I will thoroughly enjoy!

Giving us tons of info just leads to more people complaining about stuff they haven't tried yet. I'm sick of reading those threads!

Reading and seeing are to different forms of enjoyment. Yes, the info that came out was nice but isn't going to get you as hyped as a video. Even aside from a sneak peek at dungeons the only thing they showed us about ANYTHING (media wise) is two random WS vids that were like 10 seconds long.

There is plenty to show even if they want to hold their cards to their chest with dungeon stuff. They need to start getting the hype flowing!

OPs criticism would only hold up if they didn't do this for every numbered patch. They have. We got videos for the Primals, dungeons and strongholds, not to mention even loot videos for the Primals and little job WS previews.

Oh, yeah I was totally implying that they never make videos. In particular when I put one up of one they did.

Or, I dunno, theres a chance I might have been saying show us something already instead of two hand full of second long WS on 2 classes out of several. Its time for them to show something and get the hype rolling. If this patch is suppose to be so grand and large surely they can show us a few things out while the weeks count down.

It's not that I don't eventually want to see a preview, but is it really necessary to make a thread about it? lol it's kind of funny to make a thread complaining about the lack of a current preview rather than complaining about the push back of the patch itself. (Not that I fully mind each, just wish estimates were more accurate. lol) Will not seeing a video preview make you leave the game? Will it make you wait patch 1.21 any less if you do see a preview? It'll come when it comes, but I don't think there's any reason to get up in arms about it not being here for your entertainment just this moment. lol Besides, they'd want the preview to be as accurate as possible and if they are still working on some parts, they'd have to wait to show us anyway.

I don't know why, especially since he knows they never make trailers for patches. The only time they make trailers about a patch is if they show off a dungeon or specific fight, which they've always done.

Why he thinks they won't do it again is beyond me, probably complaining to be complaining.

It's a huge patch. They didn't say they needed the extra time for no good reason. Let them work on finishing it first, then the days leading up to the patch they can spend time creating preview videos.

I'm sure as we speak there is some guy cutting beginning footage for our preview, I thank this guy, even if they aren't done with enough of the dungeon for him to officially commence his work, at some point he will start, thank you video chopper guy! He doesn't get any love, we don't even know his name, or their names if its a team, but thanks!

edit: I still want group synthesis (to the giant cake) but never got why we'd be making a giant cake, instead why wouldn't culinarians work together to make more quantity of foods that we use, I can't imagine how we'd use a giant cake, unless people could click on it, and grab a stack of cake off of it, and every time a certain amount of stacks were taken a ring of the cake is taken away. But even then, its so much cake!

How'd those players in the video get the hp bars of their enemies to look different? I think that style looks a little better than what we have now.

hmm 11 days like ff11, and 3 days, like 3 dashes before jump, and 4 days like 2 arms an 2 legs = 4, add them all up to get18 divide that by number of trailers =6, we should get the vid in 6 days.
