Two-seater Mikoshi Mount (Suggestion)

Would people be okay to have this changed to being a two-seater mount when you get the permanent version of it? The passenger can just hold on to the other side of it. Just seems like so much there for a mount that it seems like a missed opportunity. I know it would make it to be the first beast tribe two-seater mount which would also require high level crafting or gathering to obtain so the difficulty of obtaining it would still be there. Just like the Chocobo Raincoat. The only other two-seater mount you have to grind for currently is the mentor mount. The others you pay for or do friend recruiting.

As big as the mount is, I'm honestly surprised it's classified as a one-seat mount. It really should be a two-seater at least.

Those poor Namazus. Carry one is heavy enough, now they gotta carry 2... lol

They don't give two seater mounts for free, so no. You either get friends to sign up (or buy the accounts yourselves) pay on the mog for fat moogle, or get a premium wedding.

They're not really carrying it tho, it floats on its own and they guide it. If they actually had to carry it, 1. poor Namazu if you're a Roe, 2. they might have to actually replace the dead one on the back-right...

+1 to this thread. The Ananta mount is big enough to be a two-seater but at least there you're smack in the middle of it so it doesn't look as empty. For the Mikoshi, you have an entire side empty that just screams for another person to ride on it.

That's what I thought! My friend who has NO crafting leveled up likes the mount and wanted to try flying on it xD

Honestly, I'd totally do extra daily quests in this game to convert this mount to a two seater. Maybe some more Namazu quests that are unlocked after you get the Mikoshi mount? The quests would be your character training a special squad of abnormally dedicated Namazu to carry the extra weight. Since the original Namazu dailies are crafter quests, have your character craft items to enhance your Namazu training squad's performance (for example, I know my weaver would be totally down for making my Namazu track suits and sweatpants for workouts). Add hilarious cutscenes of your Namazu working out as they beef themselves up, maybe even scenes of those Xaela wrestling techniques they are supposedly learning! After you rank up your Namazu, your Mikoshi mount gets converted to a two seater.

I'm going to take a guess and say that maybe there will eventually be a quest to combine all the beast tribes and the reward would be the ixal airship as that alleged 4 person mount. Or maybe this is just wishful thinking, I don't know.

It would negate us not having a two seater beast tribe mount yet, though I thought the elephant would be one.

As much as I'd want it too, it just seems like they want people to either spend more money (extended to friend referrals, since you can just buy the account yourself) or deal with the Mentor Roulette because like Feast, the carrot dangling on content people obviously don't like has to be huge.

But hey, they've gave us pleasant surprises before.

I suggest not expecting a 4 seater mount to come for free, at best they would add it to the gold chocobo feather shop, at worst the mog station or as part of some $200 statue.

2-seater mounts seem to be seen as something very special by S-E
Currently it's just getting married, recruiting friends, or being a mentor to the extreme

the ways to get them seem to share a common thread

not saying it wouldn't be neat but i wouldn't get hopes up.

Would be interested in seeing what unifcation is this time though for sure, Don't think charmed chicken ritual is in the cards
