Each first-run edition also contains a bonus in-game item code!
It could be an orchestrion roll or a minion.
Perhaps it'll be a Wind-up Zenos?
what're the odds they backpedaled on the 'single chara only' thing? OSTs are the one thing I will buy regardless, but still.
Wind-up Tsukuyomi! <3
Just announced on stream. Wind-Up Tsukuyomi is Bonus Item.
So are we not getting a minion from Tsukuyomi in-game then? :c
I am kind of cheesed that both the Yotsuyu and the Tsukuyomi minions are outside-purchase items. Oh, well.
Makes sense. The 4.3 Primal has three themes, after all. Four if you count the dungeon track.
Ahaha, this is the first story primal (Excluding Bahamut, I guess) locked to physical merchandise, so I expect certain people are gonna be pissed.
The Tsukuyomi minion being tied to this OST is especially grating to me, not because I particularly cared for the minion or anything, but because I feel we were supposed to have this already.
The crafting recipe for Stuffed Tsukuyomi uses 1 Royal Fern, an item which previously, like its HW precursor item Blood Pepper, was used to "animate" crafted minions. A while back I crafted this, expecting a minion from it (I had failed to read the name properly in my eagerness so all fault on that lies with me). I was very surprised that it was a housing item, which even upon being placed just can't help but look very much like a motionless minion to me.
Initially I had reasoned this away to myself that there was probably a last minute switch, with SE deciding that a crafted minion would be too spoiler-y to have running around the world before most people can reach and clear the primal itself, thus making the already existing minion a stationary item instead.
Now, it feels significantly more like said switch may have happened because a minion was needed to attach to yet another high-priced merchandise item, and was held back for this reason. I have no proof for this, just a feeling I get.
OK I AM FURIOUS!!!! FURIOUS!!!! WHY IS THE TSUKUYOMI MINION TIED TO A $50 CD ?!?!!?!? WHAT THE HECCCKKKKKKKK!!!!
Like others stated, I thought it would be brought out later because it may have been to "spoiler-y" to release a minion for a secret trial right off the bat, BUT they gave us a stuffed doll.
I learned and farmed that fight to get my hands on the crafting item so that I could have it for when the minion is finally released.
AND THEY ARE GONNA LOCK IT BEHIND A $50 CD?!?!?!
WHAT THE HECKKKKK
AND ITS ONLY FOR ONE CHARACTER
WHAT THE HECKKKKKK
I AM SOOOOO PISSSEEEEDD
ALSO ALSO BOTH THE YOTSUYU AND TSUKUYOMI MINIONS ARE LOCKED BEHIND PURCHASED ITEMS?!?!
It if would have been a Zenos minion, we would have considered pre-ordering the OST. I don't like Tsukuyomi though so I don't really care for her minion. But as it's already in the files it was kind of obvious that it's the Tsukuyomi minion that comes with the OST. Where is our Zenos minion now? Will we ever get one? xD
If it had been the Zenos minion on the OST, there really would've been a riot.
Yotsuyu now has two minions you get from merchandise and there's a wind-up Nidhogg that came with the OST. As for "free" we have the wind-up Grynewaht who wasn't a big-bad, but was a recurring, known antagonist. And if you want to include them, we do have wind-ups of most of the Primals...
