I give it three days.
Yeah, I don't think it'll be more than a week. People are already seeing Titan. That all depends on what the
Neo Ultima
phase will bring. Golden Bahamut was a sort of 'easy' victory lap at the end of ultimate. It might be that the final phase this time brings a crazy hard challenge, but we'll have to wait and see.
I don't think that's purely at the fault of the fight designers though that it seems to be easier. UCoB definitely made a lot of the high end players even better at the game, and they can apply that experience to UWU.
PPl were already at bahamut day one, so I wouldn't say it's a good metric to use.
I will say that because they said the fight is shorter I'll give it no more than a week,
Oh my god, the abbreviation IS UwU
it's already been 6 or 7 hours or so. you mean it's not already done? lol
In before the posts of people complaining that there's no content to do after they saw other people clearing it.
3 days. I feel there is a group that was prepped just for this tothe teeth and will be in final phase by day 2
48-72hrs going by the insane lot who are chipping away at this. Eat & do your ablutions people! UwU
Im willing to bet it'll be cleared today before midnight
after seeing what ppl have found out the hard way I'll still say up to week 1, but It's BS the reason it is imho
I think what SE did to the hardcore raiders with this fight is epic. So many thought they were so close only to have it taken from them lol
Not being one to have time to follow the streams, can somebody spoiler tag what this big twist is? I'm curious (and have no interest in actually going into the content myself, I'm happy to observe others.)
Sure thing. I can't say what I will write is 100% accurate (since anything can change if people discover more things) but this is what I've found out so far from the streams:
They realized that just beating the primals wasn't enough.
You have to do it in a specific way to get them to Awaken - and when that happens their fight style changes to become even harder. Doing it in this specific way is also difficult because it essentially relies on people doing mechanics in an unnatural way - by forcing the player to "fail" it. Since failing mechs on purpose = taking on damage, it's a bit of a challenge.
Failure to do so will eventually lead to a Doom status that is unremovable
At least that's the ongoing theory right now
I would bet 5 - 7 days.
I was worried for a bit when I saw how most streamers were at Titan after maybe 8 hours of prog. And then that 12th hour revelation occurred, and I am no longer worried about this being cleared too fast. That said, I'm expecting it to be cleared by Saturday night, at the earliest. Unless there is a second twist later on in the fight.

I love the complete 180 on the predictions after people discovered WOKE mechanics
After going in There myself and watching streams in sticking to 1-2 weeks at least
The Woke phase legit shocked me, well done SE. Truly enjoyable to watch.
I'm hoping a week at the shortest. I love the race, watching the UCoB race over that 11 days was amazing.
I was surprised by how fast people were progressing earlier, the twist was amazing. I wonder where the real hardcore groups are, considering the progress of the stream groups.
I’m thinking probably 5~7 days. Interesting to hear about the twist, and it was interesting to go in and work on Garuda tonight, trying different things that we had seen on the different streams.
Honestly, I like that they finally made something that takes a week+ to clear. It was really disappointing the last two Savage tiers for the race to have them done in ~18 hours. UCoB lasting nearly two weeks was amazing, even though I know it was probably tiring. At least it proves that the developers can come up with challenging things and implement them into fights if they want to.
Off topic, but consider the woke thing for a sec. Now they can create some fights with hard modes in them if done in a certain way........maybe we can finally get real achievements for dungeons and raids
A few streamers who were progressing hard yesterday appear to be 'relaxing' on how hard they're going at it. They've probably realised that the fight isn't going to be as easy as it was first assumed so they don't want to burn out. Very sensible, but means that it may take longer to beat, which is a good thing for us 'third party viewers'.
You can't tell me what to do.

Uh, guys, why is there fire on the floor and why is it moving toward us?
I could see the WoW devs' point about it being hard to keep such mechanics fresh but surely it's something they could have managed for a couple of bosses per tier.
Hooooly carppp
They have to use all the LB3s!!!!
Caster LB3 for killing off all the Bits
Healer LB3 to remove Doom
Melee LB3 to get rid of Lahabrea
Tank LB3 to survive Ultima
That is EPIC and the best thing ever!
Hmm... I wonder.
Makes me curious if it's possible to dps Lahabrea down without the limit break or would the game stop his HP at 1 to stop a potential cheese? It looks like the limit break doesn't actually do damage, it just advances the script. So his HP is higher than what the LB actually does. IF it was just LB damage, it wouldn't be hard to do without.
That Ultima awaken phase transition. Bravo SE, bravo.
