I have been noticing one of them. Stacks the party full of brd and mch, all attack way too coordinated to be a random group, times LBs to attack all together. Any tips on dealing with the imbalance when you are just the group of randoms?

Try to get your team to stick to objectives and play asymmetrically. Relegate fighting to protecting/preventing the pre-made from reaching the objectives as much as possible, and don't offer any more targets for them to farm Battle High/Battle Fever.
Also, what I find best for myself is to heal against pre-mades. It may sound stupid, but IMO knowing how to heal in PvP can make a difference. You don't have to be a top tier healer to carry your alliance, you just have to be good enough to know how to mitigate bursts and keep your team alive - alongside with playing asymmetrically (i.e. focus objectives). Your team is going to get stomped on, there's no preventing that. However, it's possible to win the match, even if your team gets pummeled. lmao Basically, make it so your team "lose the battle, but win the war"... or "get destroyed, but still win the match". LOL
The other best option is to join a pre-made. O.o
Become part of one, or make an open PF, premades are a good thing, sure if you're not in one you get stomped but since SE cba dealing with botting, it's the answer for many, and I don't play with them because I want to win, I do it because I find FLs boring without a laugh on discord whilst mashing heavy shot combo macro.
not really much you can do.
Bard and Machinist are absurdly over the top in pvp and it only really takes 1 or 2 healers to keep them all going forever since they're also so good at slipping away
really the only hope is that the third team decides they would much rather relentlessly attack them than try to win
In my experience premades generally wont split and will be more interested in winning through kills rather than objectives. I know its already been said but you can exploit that on maps that allow it by splitting into smaller groups. The premade will always gravitate towards the team thats more densely grouped and leave you alone.
Recognizing them early and 2v1ing them with the other team, before they battle high/fever out of control seems like it *should* work, but never does. I could speculate on a lot of reasons why it doesn't.
Reality is that they're going to be more organized and skilled than randoms every time, so they're almost always going to win. And that's really the way it should be.
Easier said than done, unfortunately. Most of the people who want to be in PvP teams (be they for Feast or pre-mades for Frontlines) are already in them...and won't recruit 'outsiders'. On Balmung, at least, there used to be a bunch of people who hung around the PvP hub chatting away and offering tips and such during queues. I rarely see them these days.
Stacking so many BRD and MCH is also a pretty cheap move in general and goes to show that many people who 'PvP' aren't actually all that interested in good-sportsmanship or overcoming opponents with real skill. All the more reason for there to be limits to the amount of stacking that can go on, really, but that'd kill queue times...
I'm not too fond of fighting premades either, but I've always just chalked it up to being "part of the game" They could always do what they did for rivals wings and make it so that groups can only queue maximum of 2.
^ that is probably one of the best things ive ever heard. seriously, the premades are bad. and this whole change to pvp this last patch was one of the worst things ever. why should i have to wait 3 days to play the mode i want to play Q_Q
...eh its just pointless. I got my 18.5k wolf marks, im done. you can't do anything...you can't commit to an attack because your own team will hang back and just look at the enemy, the second place team will attack the third place team and let the first place win, your own team will only attack whoever is near it and they always attack back, etc. i wish rival wings was active, at least it seemed a lot fairer and clearer on the objectives
we've had years of these modes and the same flaws keep popping up and never get addressed.
The part that bothers me the most is the big carrot on a stick for pushing to do frontlines at the moment requires solo queuing which somehow lures premades to come out in force...
feels like frontlines should be knocked down to 2 teams and just has 3rd base as contested territory
Honestly I think restricting FL to parties of 4 would be reasonable. But that (with variable numbers) has been suggested since the dawn of time and SE doesnt want to do it, apparently, so whatever.
"wahhh, premade wont let me queue with them" guy: has it occured to you that premades are probably groups of friends queuing together? Maybe the problem is that you arent interested in pvp at all, and said premade isnt interested in picking up (entitled) people who just want a shortcut to the newest ADS reskin?
100 wins isnt supposed to be a short-term goal, suck up the the 1:3 win rate. That or post in general, where you'll get more sympathy.
You don’t need to solo queue for the achievement and mount. I’ve got 60 wins towards both and I never solo queued.
Teaming up isn’t a bad thing guys. Just get some friends to go do it with.
I honestly just started to get more people to play with because I was sick of the bots.
The new ads mount is just there because SE massively increased the time requirements of getting the old ADS mounts by reducing the times seal rock and shatter are available. They also made the specific achievements for each mode harder to get, too. And usually matchmaking in competitive games balances premades versus other premades, but this one doesn't. Not everyone has people interested in pvping enough to make an 8 stack, which is what you need to influence a match.
\
step 1 - cry
step 2 - roll over
step 3 - cry some more
step 4 - lose horribly
step 5 - requeue and repeat at step 1
Just so you know, you could queue up for others things other than shatter before the switch this last patch. That was your choice. Now, we don't have a choice on which duty to go in during the day. Its always a different one. Before, we could choose which to go in. one of the 3 that were available all the time. So yea, just saying, the choice was there. you didn't "have" to play shatter all the time.
You can talk to the people you get matched with too...maybe they wanna team up?
Put it into the PF. I joined some random ones at first.
yeah queuing for either the daily challenge in the roulette tab or just whatever the individual map is unlocked for whatever day in the PVP tab will get you ticks up in Front and Center achievements.
Lace Valeria asked me to post a few thoughts on this for her.

Though these were written for Shatter at the time, a lot of the info within is generally good for Frontlines overall (considering that Shatter is just a combined version of Secure and Seize)
The only difference between a premade and a pug group is coordination, and coordination is not exclusive to them at all. Exercise teamwork: move together, mark and focus targets, cover each other. Don't try to "base guard"; you're just a lone kill when a team shows up to take it anyways. Don't try to avoid the premade and only play objectives; while you're avoiding and waiting for something to score with, they're scoring off kills and BEING ACTIVE. Be active. Keep that map open and watch enemy movements. Don't ignore Battle Highs/Battle Fevers.
Premades aren't invincible. They're just organized where others are chaotic.
This advice is all well and good, but the issue is that many times a good portion of your team is only there for tomes, botting, or experience which pretty much eliminates any attempts at coordination. I feel like now with cross-world friend requests, linkshells, and discord, your best bet is just reaching out to the players who did try and queuing together. This doesn't solve anything for the people who actually like queueing solo though.
