Is there no minion for a certain boss? (Sort of a spoiler for 4.3 Scenario)

I noticed there is no minion for Tsukuyomi. Is this an oversight? Is it not crafted? I really feel like it's missing, and it'd be nice to have.

There's a stuffed Tsukuyoki in there but I don't see a minion.

There is not since it is usually made using the crafting material from the primal. Probably didn't want someone to have it running around spoiling it or something. There's a furniture doll though.

To be fair, there are currently no minions for King Thordan, Sephirot, Sophia, and Zurvan yet.

I do hope they come out with minions for Thordan, the Warring Triad, and Tsuku soon though.

also the Celestial Kimono Remnants are now just dropping into people's inventory randomly instead of being a drop in the treasure chest. Is this a change back to the old system of drops? Why are they not in the chest as a reward to be rolled on?

Well, it exist and it is in the database. The description says it's untradable... The question now is, where we get it xD

We still have a lot of 4.3 still yet to come (4.31, 4.35 and 4.36), my bet is that it is in one of those patches to allow people to do the MSQ before being spoiled by a crafting recipe of all things

The crafting material “Celestial Kimono Remnant” is currently available in-game, and it’s not untradeable. There’s 41 of them up for sale on the Market Board right now on Cactuar. Another poster said that it may drop into a player’s inventory a la “Fiend Sap”... which, if it does, RIP. I did SephEx almost 100 times and never got a single Fiend Sap. ;-; Haven’t gotten any of Tsuku’s crafting mat either, and haven’t seen it drop in the coffer yet.

It may not, though. Because they aren’t nearly the same price as Fiend Sap was on my server (750k for the Kimono Remnant, and Fiend Sap was always several million). Probably just a bit more rarer than Byakko’s crafting mat was.

That would only make sense if there weren't the recipes for the barding and the tabletop.

I was not talking about the crafting material but the minion itself. (And yes, it's random. After almost 50 runs I got nothing while my husband got 2)

My mistake. I thought you were talking about the crafting material because of the post you quoted.

Makes me wonder if that will be the minion included with the Stormblood OST, which is set to be released on July 4, 2018. Product page says it comes with an in-game item code, and OSTs usually have minions attached to them.

I was going to say that there where some data mined music scrolls that where likely for the OST but they've gone directly to the mogshop so the minion as a item code looks likely.

The material drops directly into a random player's inventory at the same time as the chest is opened. I've seen it drop two or three times now and also gotten one myself.

After I posted this, I realized a minion would be potentially an easy spoiler of a sort (though I got spoiled by choosing to do crafting first and seeing the furnishing recipe), so yeah, it's likely it'll come in a 4.3 subpatch. Good idea. However, it is a weird spoiler because you don't know it is one past just being a boss, although you can very easily see the resemblance if you look right at her. Additionally, I also noticed the Kimono Raiment being "personal loot," which is weird. I guess they're experimenting with how that feels again.
