4.3 Boss nitpicks

4.3 bosses are further proof that positionals need to be abolished, and that Monks need a better way to keep GL stacks cause I don't care how good of a Monk you are, you are not keeping GL stacks during the add phase of the new primal fight ><

Other than that I like them :)

I actually wish there was a way to practice learning the mechs in steps instead of begging 7 other people with you into the fight. Cause I learn slow and NOONE is going to sit there and let me figure out the mechs at my own speed sadly. And I say that knowing how slow I actually learn. It's why I don't farm primals cause I suck at those fights. It'll take me most likely 2 months to get it to a point where I don't die and it sucks. Sadly it's either get good at everyone else's pace of buck you. This is the reason I stick to dungeons and 24 man raids. Cause I can learn those faster. This new primal just reminds me how bad of a player I actually am.

I agree. It's one of the things I like least about this game: not being able to learn by trial and error without inconveniencing the rest of the team. (And also, for that matter, not understanding what happened because someone else dealt with it and you didn't see it.)

Yeah if they gave me an option to do that I'd be happy. But I just have to simply get good. Try and try again. It's the only way to get better. I just hate being the weakest link.. it really does suck.

this is just a game issue they don't tell you anything about mechanic what markers do etc etc ive seen people just run away with stack markers so many times and die so many times, i understand savage at least but regular trials
trial and error is not always a effective means of teaching in this game.

I have a nitpick too.
This issue is present in all bosses of ridorana but I think is most criminally present in Contruct 7
The boss rotation is: TB, stack + makred aoe, drill+ cross, divebomb+proximity and rotation laser, Incinerate, proximity knockback and repeat till death, there are nearly 0 variances in his pattern and frankly the math mechanic only happens twice in the fight and then never again (which imho would've worked against the tediousness). As said this issue is present in all bosses in ridorana but some hide it better, for example belias has different patterns to his mechanics and famfrit has the roulette + jugs mechanics that make it less noticeable.
Yazmat too suffer off this imho.
Also if we compare to Rabanastre. Bosses in there had a new mechanic added to their post ultimate phase (cept mateus since usually he was dead by then)
Hasmal with the adds and the submission towers+ sand balls
Rofocale with the traps in the floor and the darkness phase + comnboing his previous phase skills together
Argath with the lies mask and the point direction movement.
All of this honestly makles me feel a bit annoyed to the raid as a whole
Curious if I'm the only one feeling this

I might be a little bit unfair. I'm not giving up mind you. I'm just reviewing my mistakes in my mind and going to try and not make those mistakes again. But I am known to beat myself up alot when I fail or don't meet my expectations. I plan to get the fight down so I'm not holding up my friends or other people. Tho to be honest, something about the new primal escapes me. I either react too slow and as simple as the mechs for her look and sound when people explain it. I panic and goof up and it goes down hill. This has happened a few times since I tried this primal and others in the past. So It's a me issue I have to overcome you know.

The trial's last phase isn't easy, though. It's not just you. The mechanics we've seen before, but they are sped up and combined. It's the opposite of Royal menagerie; small arena, relatively few mechanics, but very fast and not single attacks.

I'm not a huge fan of positionals so I dont really care if they stay or go. I think the way SAM positionals work is a good compromise.

The best way to do that is to look for 7 other people (friends, fc or PF) who will do that with you. It can take a while but you will find people like that.
