Come on SE we've been through this before already. I thought you'd have learned your lesson by now. :(
At the very least don't gate duties as part of long cutscenes that we have to skip to get to!

Having the same exact issue
This is ridiculous how hard isn’t it to learn from issues you’ve created in the past.
yeah, same problem here. was hoping to get scenario done before the hordes descended.... but oh well.
It's happening on instances that aren't part of the MSQ, too. -_-
Yesshh, every patch...this is unfortunate
Raubahn Extreme strikes again?
More like Alphinaud Extreme
In my case it's Genbu Extreme. I guess I was fortunate to get through the MSQ ones before more people got online.
LOL just wait your dissapointments will come in waves
It really sours the whole experience when technical difficulties like this pop up.
Especially when they're the same ones over and over again. Raubhan's Wall was a meme because of how bad it was. Surely they had to know it would happen again. What's being done to mitigate it on the backend? Just saying "oh eventually eveyrone will have done it so things will clear up" isn't a proper solution, because of how often the same problem happens.
What I don't understand is that something had to have changed for this to happen with this expansion specifically.
With Raubahn it could be explained by there possibly being more people playing the game than at any one time before, not to mention there being almost nothing in the game to do at all up to that point. But 4.2 and 4.3? They're just patches that shouldn't have anywhere near the volume of people on the same quest as say, 3.0. Looking at the login queues upon expansion release compared to these patches is proof enough of that. Something has to have changed, which to me says that it can be fixed, they just don't know how.
Blind guess would say the increased inventory is causing this, not saying it's the cause, but it's what I would think since the issue started with the increased inventory capacity
I guess there's the answer we seek.Quote:
[14:33]In order to address an issue causing difficulties when entering instances via duty finder, we will be performing an emergency maintenance on the duty finder server. As a result of this maintenance, all players’ queues will be reset. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.
The irony is that Yoshida said in an interview that Raubahn wont happen again because they tested a new system on the full chinese servers and it was fine so we should have been fine this time but seemingly we are not...(he also said that it should be fine because its towards the end of the MSQ)
Well it seems that even that is not enough and I fear for 5.0. They really need to get rid of that because I cant remember that we had so many problems with normal patches in ARR or HW..
Blind guess. How about the great increase of instanced quests. I am sure someone could count but it feels like we are already double what we had in HW's. Not to mention as people have pointed out more houses.
The real question is are they working on a que system. People would be kind of cranky 5000 in line. But, the options when stuck in a que are greater. But way less cranky then spamming and hoping the damn system works like its suppose to.
