Bard, especially since they are known to be naturally good hunters.
The leader of the Arcanist guild is a Miqo'te, so Summoner or Scholar would fit. Y'Shtola is a Conjurer so that also works if you want. And then some Miqo'te are thieves so Ninja is a go too.
Really any class makes sense for almost any race, just look around and you'll see many examples. Personally I feel they make great pugilists but I'm biased lol
The Yellowjackets employ many a Miqo'te marauder so tanking isn't necessarily out of the question. Basically unless you were making your Miqo'te hail from a specific region where a particular class wouldn't be common, almost anything "makes sense".
Well, the commander of the Maelstrom's Foreign Levy, R'ashaht Rhiki, is a Seeker "marauder known for her tendencies toward extreme savagery in battle". For those who aren't in the Maelstrom, you'll remember R'ashaht as the miqo'te you fought just before the last boss in Hullbreaker Isle (Hard).
Thanks for the advice, guys!
Seeing this way, any job makes sense.
As others have stated, any class goes with miqo'te, especially Seekers of the Sun, from CNJ/WHM (remember, Y'shtola is a CNJ, as is her sister Y'mhitra in the SMN questline, and even the U tribe employs CNJs as npc healers during the 'Children of the Sands' FATE), to the AWOL Guildmaster of the ACN Guild (who, like most male miqo'te, is struck with wanderlust and doesn't like being stuck pushing papers in the guild). There has been at least one miqo'te GLA as well, so even GLA/PLD is a choice.
So really, any class is suitable! So go with what you like, as it's all lore correct! :D
I would say caster or healer.
MONK :D Always.
Dancer, be like your ancestors, the mithera and be a DNC
Generally whatever you see as agile or graceful, I guess, or generally whoever has armor sets that look good on a Miqote. Beyond that, whatever's favored by their stats: Scholar, White Mage, Ninja, Bard, etc.
In-game they are predominantly Lancers, Archers, Conjurers, and Pugilists, but there are some examples of Gladiators and one or two Marauders as well.
For rp purposes if you wanted to go off of 1.0 lore they were known for their skill with lances and short bows.

Basically, any class is lore friendly to Miqos. (Don't wanna spam the thread with pics lol)
I'd say that if you are a lalafelle, it wouldn't suit being a tank very well but most combinations work very well. Magic related classes are great for miquo'te. There are slight stat differences between races but I never cared to pay attention to them.
Fashion over function!
If it's for RP reasons, whatever your backstory allows.
As others have said, anything works.
My personal opinion:
Conjurer
Arcanist
Red Mage
Rogue
Archer
Miqo'te tend to have a certain aesthetic towards hunting, which makes classes like Archer/Rogue seem logical. We've also seen that they can be quite intelligent, which is where we see Red Mages (a balance between that combat finesse and intelligence) and Arcanist coming into it. I added Conjurer since Moonkeepers dwell within the Twelveswood, so it makes sense for them to go that route as well.
Really, any race can work with any job, but I think I see where the OP is coming from. Some races feel like they would gravitate more naturally towards some classes. You'd hardly think of a Male Roegadyn Conjurer or Thaumaturge (even though one of the two clans of Roes excel at magic), more likely to picture them as a Gladiator or Maurader, and by the same token you'd be more likely to think of a Lalafell as a caster than a Dark Knight or something.
Miqote is aesthetically/plot-wise an alternative Human/hyur, they can neatly fill in any job and not make you question how or why they do it
Speaking of Moonkeepers, I haven't noticed many. (My char is a Moon Keeper, since 1.0) I play casters, but that is my personal preference.
