Nezha top

Love the look of it but based on the pictures in mog station it seems to clip thru tails (will probably look even worse during running) so is it possible (and if not would it be possible to add a means to) remove the rope that goes down in the back?

Glad I'm playing a race with no tail. Too much clipping issues.

Most likely not. They have a bad habit of adding unnecessary things to outfits that more or less ruin the look.

What annoys me most is why our belts don't appear as a glamour and, instead, all of it is plastered onto the top. Anemos Gambison is a good example, it would be a great top if I could just get rid of the belt but nah.

Don't know about the female version of the Nezha set, but the male version is actually really tail-friendly.
Of course it will clip through while running (hard to notice since it happens so quickly) and shifting poses of course, but settling into the pose the tail will tend to rest just to the side of the rope. Only real offenders are emotes like /squats and /breathcontrol.

Going to second this...just spent $18 on this set and can't really use it because it impales my tail. I'd be fine with being able to turn off that extra bit, or just something that moves it a little so my tail's not shot through.

What is the point of playing a miqo'te or au'ra without a tail? People don't typically hack off body parts to make their clothes fit the way they are supposed to and our tails are not detachable accessories.

What they really need to do is stop being lazy and modify gear ever so slightly to account for people with tails so it doesn't clip. Considering that they charge for this stuff it isn't asking for much.

There are other threads that mention it but they used to do exactly that, some armor even went so far as to protect a little bit of the tail before 2.0 when they just seemed to shrug and decided that everyone will get pretty much the same gear no matter how badly it clips, they also removed roe tails.. they literally went and cut the tail off of every living roe to save themselves work.

It's the WHM AF3 collar all over again isn't it? Square should consider options to toggle certain gear pieces.

The top part of the back of the hood sticks out a bit too much that it's unnecessary IMO. Hoods aren't normally that exaggerated... but aside from that unless your hairstyle is a pixie cut or something there's some pretty bad clipping.
This is speaking for the lady's version anyways. But everything else looks really great.

Doesn't look bad on my miqo, the tail gets close but it's doesn't actually clip it most of the time O.o If anything, to me it looks like she's wrapping her tail around it :P

I don't want to remove my tail entirely. But there are specific outfits where I would like it hidden and it would be less work to program a feature that hides a texture than it would be to add proper physics for the tail or additional dev time to create proper tail slots in clothing.

More items should have a 'visor' feature to turn off something that's 'odd'. At least chestpieces - let us 'visor' (turn off) belts, weird ropes, etc. It would be a solution to the belt problem too - not 100%, as you can't pick and choose, but at least something.

I'm not mad at the clipping. all things aside its pretty minor compared to other sets.

The hair clipping I noticed with one of the racial ponytails that was a bit long on my kitty. But I can live with it. It's better than the skalla set where the tail just happened to phase through the cape thing.

I do like the little rope thing on the back of the top, but I do wish there was an option to toggle it on or off. Having it click through my PLD's shield or any other weapons on my character's back is kinda annoying.

I mean, I love the outfit... it's the closest I want for my character's desired look, but that rope thing on the back ruins it a bit for me.

No tail hiding for me thank you, id rather them giving us a visor like option to hide the rope thingy.

They can simply make the rope into two, attached one to each side of shoulder.
Original Chinese design is probably didn't take tailed race into account.
All of the promotion pics is showing hume.

I love the outfit, but I have a horrible clipping with the tail.

Yup, there was a time you all had tails, the roe were originally based on the galka from ffxi and in ffxiv 1.0 they still had tails, they wore armor over them frequently and everything. however as time went on the SE gods tore the tails from all of roe kind and turned you in to the tail-less beings you are today

Some have accepted this change to their very nature gracefully, or were born in a generation that knows not of the loss.. but I remember for you, I remember the pride your kind had in your tails and weep..

You know I wasn't too bothered about it to begin with but the more I see people running around with it the more I like it.
I seen someone with an outfit making use of the tights and I was all "Whoa so cute. Where did they get those tights from. Oh it's THEM!"
I feel like I'm going to be out of pocket by the weekend and 1 new outfit richer xD The temptation is strong

While some clipping is understandable I'm getting annoyed with how SE seems to have just decided to ignore Miqo and Au Ra tails (again--don't let those darklight screenshots fools you, tails and robes were not friends in 1.0). Clipping with tails was actually a fairly big complaint when Yoshida took over and for a time the team did try to address this in various ways. Now they keep putting pouches on the back of otherwise very nice healer armor (Dai-ryumyaku body, Star Velvet Body) exactly where my tail is so the only way to avoid clipping is to glam over it (just remove the pouch for tailed races). I love the new paladin AF from the front, but the clipping with the cape in the back is what I see all the time if I'm using and it quickly drives me nuts (half-cape? pretty please). This is something that could be prevented at the design stage. Considering the amount of effort goes into these designs it would be nice if they would make sure they work for all races and not just 2/3 of them.
