Abusing the PF system

Can we stop this please?

People are posting PFs under "Duty Roulette" so that they go straight to the top of the list, and the description is some ad about buying gil or completing certain in-game objectives. I have a screenshot but have no idea how to include it in the post.

I can only handle so much cancer every time I go into PF.

I mean if you want to report it, you can do it ingame. I wouldn't post an uncensored screenshot here in public, you'd only get yourself in trouble for that.

I report bots all the time but they still exist :v
I was hoping for a more permanent solution. I don't remember this issue being prevalent before Stormblood.

I mean what can you do? Realistically, whichever category goes to the top will be used? I feel like that's why we got filters. So that we can find exactly what we're looking for. If you're looking for roulettes though.... SOL.

Cross world blacklist that is as simple as rightclick->Blacklist regardless of content.

Having to manually type the name, have them be online or join their party to add via contact list are steps that shouldnt be there.

Then in PF have an option to exclude blacklist, not just dim them.

It should put other at the top of the list. Change it to unspecified. Suddenly roulette won't be abused anymore. I mean when you start a PF for the first time in a play session it defaults to "Other" with it appearing at the top... so why doesn't it occur on PF listings?

What really bugs me is being able to set a minimum ilvl up to 999. Should be some restriction in place to limit it to the maximum players can currently achieve. With an absurd minimum, players can't even join the party anyway (I think). At least if they don't set the ilvl, you can get a few folks to join up and cause the listing to close once the party is full.

I hope this will be fixed asap, it's anoying to see these kind of RMT so splicit in our face, this game has a reputation to keep.

"So scroll down?" This is kind of a ignorant comment. Don't support RMT by suggesting to ppl to just scroll down and leave it as it is, it should be fixed.

You can't report them, as they are cross world party and the ilv is 999, so you can't see it's Nick name or report.

Using ilvl as above maximum is cleary an bad design and players should not be able to do that.

Actually, easy solution SE should be able to implement: let us filter PF listings by ilvl. We can already hide all the listings for duties we haven't unlocked. Why not expand that to listings where we don't have the gear to meet the requirements?

Either they'll all continue as usual and we'll all be blind to their listings after filtering them, or they'll be forced to lower their ilvl settings, allowing us to troll them back by filling their parties and removing the listings.

agreed, this is really... annoying. i'm not as peeved as it being on the top of everything else but it's Pretty Obvious that something shady is going on... but apparently not enough for the gms or anyone else for that matter to do anything about it.

Yeah, this is still an issue. I think one of our infamous botter got some of his alts banned (I have no evidence of this, but have not seem them around while gathering), but I just discovered 5 more today while gathering lol. Keep reporting don't give up.

Selling runs for gil i swur

If you post a discord screenshot it's not considered because it's a 3rd party source and could be edited.

There's nothing they can do about it except monitor ip addresses logging into an account and that's unreasonable.
