CHAOS Datacenter log-in issues

Tonight I can't connect to Chaos Datacenter no matter what... what's happening?
I can connect to any other Datacenter just fine, but my character is on Omega (CHAOS) and I keep getting the "Lobby server has encountered an error [2002]" message.

Looking it up on google I found it may be about the datacenter login being congested, but I've been trying for a full hour now with no luck... am I the only one experiencing this?
My friends are logged in already, and now they're scared to disconnect for whatever reason, and not being able to log back in.

Any help/suggestion?

Two hours now... I can't believe a log-in server would be congested that long...?
One of my friends tried to log-out/log-in again and it worked fine for him, meanwhile I'm still out and I can't play...

My internet connection works fine, I can play any other on-line game with no issues, I can open FFXIV and connecto to US/JP Datacenters with no issues, but I can't connect to EU Chaos no matter what...

You're not the only one. Two of my friends could not log on either and I got an error once when I tried to log out and in again.
It worked fine for me after that one error though, so I really don't know what the actual problem is...or could be.

Well, I'm glad to know it's not an issue on my end atleast... still, no luck here tho, after 2+ hours of tries... I can't log-in game no matter what.
I renewed my sub two days ago and this happens on my first free evening, nice.

I'm not able to connect to the European datacenter (Chaos) where my character is (Omega) anymore, simple as that.

I've been playing just fine till yesterday, nothing changed on my end.

- I tried to reboot my PC, it didn't work; I tried to reboot my router, it didn't work; I tried to wait a few hours, it didn't work; I tried in this moment (6 hours later) and it still doesn't work; I tried to connect to other datacenters (US and JP) to check if it was something on my end, and I can connect with no issues, but as I've said already, my character is on EU (Chaos), so that doesn't solve anything.

I even did a traceroute, as you can see there is an issue mid-way there, nothing I personally can do anything about.

same issue here. I have played yesterday without problem and nothing changed by my side

Same issue here!!! It started yesterday around 5 P.M and today the game is giving me the same issue.

Hello! I've the same issue from yesterday evening

- I tried to reboot my PC, reboot my router, wait a few hours (tried few minutes ago and still nothing).
I tried to connect to other datacenters, to check if it was something wrong with my pc, and to them I can connect with no issue.
My character is on Ragnarok (CHAOS - EU-) and I have issue in connecting to my server from yesterday evening (around 7 p.m.)

I've tried to connect with my phone connection and I can finnaly log in!

Same issue here!

And I have Fastweb too.... :(

i have called the technical support of the ISP (Fastweb) and they are working on the their net to update and improve the service, especially for online gaming
They hope to finish the maintenance today. Thank you guys.

They give me this advice:

" If issue still persist:

- Please press windows key + r
- Type cmd.exe then hit return
- Type ipconfig /flushdns then hit return

The error should be fixed now. "

Judging by the trace routes and other information provided, it looks like this issue is pertains to the ISP Fastweb (If others are having this same issue and have a different ISP, please let me know). Has anyone contacted this ISP (aside from Lucifer85)?
