How many Anemos lockbox do you have?

I have about 3.7k myself. Waiting to open till I can do 100 at a time or something.

currently a stack of 999. I'm waiting for the hotifx to get a better chance at the dino mount. (the reason I'm wating is that I already opened like 800 with no luck. Got the redmage chocobo barding though)

Pretty sure the only things they'll be changing to lockboxes, will be the addition of eurekan potions, the lower dropchance on fireworks (which will likely go to eurekan potions), and some of the stuff made tradeable (as pointed out by this Community Rep post: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...28#post4616728).

So while it doesn't hurt to save them anyway, I wouldn't expect more than less fireworks clogging up your inventory, and potions taking up 1 inventory slot instead.

OT: 676 lockboxes, with about 400ish opened, but I don't run Eureka too often (still climbing to lvl 20, 3 more to go.)

Watch SE update and make it where you have to get keys to open them.

They are always doing something like that.

I got to 72 before I cashed them all out and quit Eureka forever.

With the randomized loot I highly doubt you can open more than one at a time, aside from a bunch of fireworks/such (roughly 50%) I rather enjoy all the materia I get, in about 4k boxes obtained 5 bardings, 7 rexes too much music and an abundance of the furniture. I wouldn't mind less fireworks/etc. But I feel the boxes are fine as is, at the rate they are handed out the rate of obtaining stuff is fine imo.

Definitely spent too much time in there over the course of the last week but I felt like crap and needed some braindead diversion to take my mind off it.

While I like getting the materia from these lockboxes, so that I can transmute the useless ones. I can't help but feel like every time my lockbox stack builds up, I have this sense of dread. Like I've built up a debt that I don't wanna pay. :<

Please SE, reduce the amount of boxes we get from all NMs and increase the drops rate of the items people really want. I don't like to waste them, but I abhor opening them.

Down to about 850... probably opened over 1000. Still don't have Fafnir minion.

2.5k currently, I have opened about 1k already, waiting for the hotfix.

1200 and after opening 2k boxes I gave up on the dino mount and will just wait until after the patch

Sure you can. Wrap the code to randomly unlock one into a For loop, and at the end return a list of what was obtained. IIRC, the screen for what you get even has room for a list already.

Making a batch operation request to a server isn't exactly cutting edge Computer Science. SE's UX team just seems to think people really like obtuse UI, confusing turn ins, and grindy lockbox/crystal conversion processes.

Fine by me simply because potions are actually usefull. Maybe some people love the fireworks and that's perfectly fine but right now I'm kinda sick of it lol

I've stopped counting. I go ahead and open lockboxes as I leave Eureka so it is 100 or so at the time. As the rewards are doled out via RNG opening a lot at once doesn't increase your chance for good luck over doing them in smaller batches. Having a natch open however will likely reduce one of the annoying features of Eureka.

Back down to 1.2k, processed at least 3k. Got all the glams and misc items, now I just open them for materia and mutamix the trash to hopefully get some crafting/gathering materia.

154, stopped after I got the trex. would collect more because I'm almost at the "pazuzu up?" phase of the expedition xD

317 last I checked. I have the RDM barding and Tyrannosaur, so unless there's another impressive drop I'm unaware of, I'll leave them for the time being.

The dino took 600+ boxes to drop btw. I am now the Fireworks Baron of Val.

I have over 3000 but not as much as the OP. Hardly opened any since starting Eureka last week.

About 2k. But I've got pretty much everything from them now so I don't see the point in opening them. By the time I'm finished getting everything for my classes I'm sure I'll have tons more lol.

Can't stand having more than one stack, but I also want to keep some in reserve for after the hotfix changes.
I just open my boxes down to 900 once I notice my 2nd stack starting to become unwieldy.

The Lochs is now littered with fireworks doh... so be careful!

None. The few times I can be bothered to go in eureka anymore, nothing drops any boxes, presumably because of how top-heavy the exp levels are by now.

They drop from NMs, provided you can get silver and up. Every time. Farming them is super easy because of the NM train.

I've collected a ton since Eureka opened...really don't know how many, easily 2k+. They're profitable even with the constant firework spam, so I've opened every single one so far. But I'm gonna farm some more for the incoming hotfix throughout the evening before they take the servers down.

My understanding is you have to be within a certain level range to get the boxes.

I've opened like 1,000 of them so far and I have around 1,000 sitting in my inventory.

I kind of wish we got less lockboxes and better loot in them, like the upper floors of POTD.
