Hello~ Ellie really likes this outfit, but can't find a way to add it to a glamour plate. It neither lets her convert it directly or add it to the Armoire. > w <
If there isn't a way to add it, are they planning on making a way to add it? Danke

I would think like a songbird dress, it would let you add it to the Armoire, I guess the only way for you to use it then would be either equip it or use 1 glamour prism at a time
I'm surprised you can't put the loyal housemaid dress in; the housemaid dress (from the Amazon promotion) does.
Not only that, but Ellie accidentally put a glamour plate over the maid base ware and can't get it off, so she can't even ware the base ware to get the appearance. It's not fair. u - u
Can't glamour plate it and can't use it at all. Why is it like this?
You only need to use a glamour dispeller to remove any glamours applied to any item.
Needing to use glamour dispellers because the wrong item had a plate applied to it, because you had to put it on by itself, because for some reason it can't be made into a glamour plate through any means, after having paid 18 USD for it, just is a rather bothersome circumstance to be allowed to exist in the game. Like, the point of the plate system is so you can use multiple looks with the same set of gear whenever you want. If I were to use the old method to apply the maid look, I would be locking myself out of all the glamour plates, and if I were to apply a plate and wanted to revert to the maid look, would have to re-glamour the maid outfit back onto it. To Ellie, this is just absurd. Like, it should be a given that people who buy purely cosmetic gear from the mogstation are going to want to be able to convert said cosmetic gear into glamour plates. It just seems like to Ellie that things like this should be considered and accounted for before hand. > w <;
I am really confused on the exact issue here but there was threads on complaining about the glam dresser before.
There is not enough space in it.
The idea you can't convert it back out is just plain bad, since 200 items is very limiting to begin with
10 plates is not enough when 15 jobs exist with 3 gathering and 8 crafting
Not enough items to go in the armoire
What is the exact issue with dispellers now? and the glam dresser update does not effect the old method
It's a few issues is why it may seem confusing (and partly due to these annoying 1000 char post limits).
1. Items (the mogstation maid set) that should be able to be made in palatable pieces has no way of plating them.
2. Having worn said items in their base state (outside of gameplay of course), they were accidentally plated over when Ellie was showing her hun her outfits, and there is no way to take off the plate on the maid uniform without using a consumable.
3. That this only occurred because Ellie is forced to have to manually ware the outfit when she very much would prefer having it being used via plate, makes it worse.
4. If she wanted to use the maid outfit on a gameplay set, she would need to use the old method on her current gear set, but, this would make her unable to use her plate outfits as well because she would need to continually reglamour the maid outfit everytime she used a plate outfit.
(cont.)
Essentially, a bunch of other problems and complications arise due to this one set Ellie wants to be able to use from time to time not being palatable. This seems dumb to Ellie cause this was a paid for, purely aesthetic item set for a game that requires a subscription to play. It just seems like their self standards should be higher for the merchandise they are selling to their paying playerbase. A paid for item shouldn't cause such frustrating complications due to incompatibility with their own features. Ellie hopes that clears things up.
You can also do a mix of glamour prism and glamour plate. If you want to use the dress, glamour it by hand, then leave the chest slot empty on the plate with the legs, gloves, etc, whatever. I do the same thing with my anima weapon for my astrologian since I stopped on the phase I wanted bc I got bored; my glamour plate for my AST has an empty weapon slot and I just glamour the weapon from my inv. It's still annoying, but not nearly as annoying as having to glamour every single item every time.
Are you talking in 3rd person? that aided in the confusion. (your user name is Yandere-chan with the chr name Elenore Baker, to me "Ellie" does not relate to them, but this may be partly due to my dyslexia, I doono if I am supposed to be able to understand it or not if I did not have such issues)
I am not sure on the exact issue still, do you dislike needing to use dispellers or having these items take space? Maybe you can propose we should be able to glam freely without the need of the items?
The plate system is just plain bad, I really do not use them outside generic sets, stuff I use a lot. Then I take off all m gear except the one item I need and plate over it. You do not have to fill all the slots in a plate, and you can use plates only wearing one thing. This helps save some inventory space by having common items on plates that I use different dyes of. All and all I use the old system 95% of the time and plates 5%. It is really annoying and clucky feel, having that error message "cannont execute because of item interaction" feels like 1990 game limitations.
If you are trying to reference plate changing for rp purposes or something, you can always buy some level 1 gear, like say hempen set, set this to a gear set, then when you want to cycle your different plates, just keep using the different plates on your hempen set. There is no reason you need to glam over the maid set.
Also note this post is bigger then the 1000 characters thing and I edited to bypass it.
Ellie didn't know abut the edit bypass, danke Vstar and Dusty, and yus Ellie refers to herself in the third person often. It's sorta like Elenore in a shorter form~ ^ O ^
Ellie likes to be able to switch between outfits on the fly no matter what her combat gear is. Ellie wants the molestation maid outfit to be one of the said outfits she can use whenever she wants. The problem is, because it doesn't work with the new system, she would have to reglamour every time she switches to it from one of the plate outfits she has. The maid set being a purely cosmetic paid for item set, really should be able to be made into a platable outfit. Dat not being the case causes severe cosmetic conflicts with all her other outfits.
Needing to use the old method constantly and on the fly isn't practical, cost effective, or feasible compared to simply going from plate outfit to plate outfit. Ellie has 10 outfits at any given time that are meant to completely change Ellie's look, and the maid outfit is supposed to be one of those 10, dat is the reason Ellie bought it, cause Ellie really likes it. It doesn't seem fair or professional for it to not work with the plate system.
Well, I know a few like me that don't use the plate system but they take it a step further.
What they do is, make each job have its own set, we are talking ilevel range of 320-350, for each of these battle classes having its own set to have its own glam. At that point you are just changing job to change to the different glams. Then each gathering has its own set on top of that along with .. 3? maybe? not sure, last I heard it was something of the like of gaining yellow script gear though weeklies to slowly make each crafting class to have its own set.
So where does that leave us? we know you dislike the limitations of the system so now we need a way to figure out how to work around them. You can get dispellers from npc or GC, and the glam prisms from GC, they are really a low cost, at least to me and people like I described above. To prevent needing to reglam the maid outfit, use the maid outfit on a "main set" i/e maybe your main combat class or something. Then after that make a gear set of throw away clothes like the level 1 hempen set (or buy two hempen sets where one uses the maid glam) anyways point is have throw away gear set like a hempen set to scycle your plates on.
Another idea is having the real base maid set as a gear set, while again using a throw away gear set like hempen set as a different gear set to cycle the plates on.
Yeah but Ellie likes being able to use multiple costumes with her main set for the same class. Whether or not any one particular person likes the new system or not though, it really isn't a good sign when the company's latest cosmetic merchandise doesn't even work with the new cosmetic system they developed. Ellie expected it would, which Ellie finks is more than reasonable to expect, and it didn't. It concerns Ellie very much dat this hasn't been addressed by them in particular as this is one of their more expensive cosmetic sets. > w <
Apparently it was some sort of bug because it started appearing when Ellie checked today. Ellie isn't sure what she did to fix it, so she apologizes if anyone else finds this thread who also didn't have it appear. > w < Ellie really just did regular things though. Visited houses, did some FATEs, chatted about, teleported here and there, and logged off and logged back on later the following day and it appeared under her items to change into glamour plates. So, Ellie is happy about dat. \o/ Just hope it doesn't happen again for any future glamourings.
