fastest way to make gill ?

the only efficient way i found is hunting , trading cracked clusters for stones and selling them , but it's not that fast .
crafting is the worst . if i choose to craft things that will sell for more than 300k they take a few days on the mb until someone finally buys them :(
also grinding lvl 70 dungeons is very slow , i still don't know how people make billions so fast .

1. Go treasure hunting with your friends.
2. Hopefully get into The Aquapolis/Lost Canals.
3. Get loot.
4. Sell loot on the market board/craft glamour gear with the loot and then sell the glamour gear on the market board.
5. Eventually profit.... eventually....

Big prices aren't always the best way or fastest way to make gil. Items worth a considerable amount of gil that sell fast, such as materials in bulk, work too. Try looting/gathering and selling in stacks whatever is currently in high demand.

Thats why you dont do any one item alone, you craft a whole bunch of them and each day one would prop sell. Downside you will be checking prices often to counter undercutters.
Also what seems a constant in selling is Thavnairian onions.
Slow but shure way of getting gil is gathering crystals
The 'quick easy gil' just doesnt exist. To make big amounts you need to work several angles and eventually you accumulate wealth.

Any gatherer will do, just sell logs, ores, some fishes and so on

Fishing makes some serious bank.

If you have crafters leveled, I recommend leveling your desynthesis. Not only do you get some items that only drop from that (hi CUL desynth) but I'm making a killing from GSM and WVR desynths. That also makes every run through a level 70 dungeon a potential for a lot of profit since the mats I get still go for several thousand a pop and they sell fast - namely I make Gil just from playing the game, after a fashion.

Its also a bit depending on timing.

When an even patch hits (one with new mats, new crafted gear, maybe new glamour items which uses old stuff), be capped already and have 1-2 gatherers at a high ilvl.
The new mats for older tomestones, aquivalent to those Thavnarian ones which sell now for a few 1k, will be worth a ton, every mat involved in creating now gear will be.

Sometimes you also need just luck. I leveled my armorer/goldsmith desynth with PotD gear from MB for 1-10k while one desynth could give you mats worth 150k, because they made those things involved in current stuff again.

Well lvl 70 gathering/crafting gear goes for 100 to 200k an item. That new health spa goes for like 400k on my server. Flying chairs go for like the same.

the good old artisans goggles where good for a while too, with the new ala mhigan gear for crafters and gatherers too

Gathering is great, especially if you gather items that sell often. Alumen for level 20 miner is a pretty good example...
Low level crafting gear can be a decent seller as well.
Alternatively, the lootboxes from Eureka have been giving me a shit ton of materia, which sell quickly and for a decent price. Could try that as well.
Signing up for duty roulette as a tank when they are in need (almost always) can give cracked clusters, which can be exchanged for materia VI. Which sell for a lot.

Crafting/gathering is a given, but since you obviously don't want to do that, (and I don't blame you... I hate leveling DoL/DoH) your best bet is treasure hunting.

Fishing makes a ton of money. From what I have seen materia only makes money the beginning of a new raid patch.

Most of my money is made in small bursts and come from a collective of things, not just one specific craft.

The best way to make gill is to have multiple ways and income of gill.

* Hunts (SB hunts) - for cracked clusters.
* Treasure maps for loot.
* sell GC stuff
* low level crafting - example - silver ingots (GLD) ; Dye
* low level gathering - silver ore (miner)

What sells good if your a level 70 miner. I need to make some big Gil for a possible server change. I’ve tried farming some of the lower level ores but they stopped selling quickly.

Daily Stuff to keep the cash flowing:

1. Roulettes as adventurer in need
2. Retainer ventures --> sell what they bring back (can hit it big on this). The jet black dye alone sells for 600k on my server. Some other items such as the crafted primal weapons sell for a boatload as well

Other ways to make gil.

1. Clear demi materia III, which is easily obtained in Eureka, sells for 5k to a VENDOR (people are stupid enough to MB this, so dont). The Grade II sells for 1k, and grade I sells for 200g. Can EASILY make 500k/week doing this.

2. Materia farming, as you said. On a tuesday, throw up a PF for Factal Continuum speed runs to cap mendacity. Just MB any tier 6 materia u get. On my server the Vs dont sell high anymore. So I vender them also

3. Seph sap from Sephirot EX. Currently 4m on Famfrit

You can only take 1 mil with you so if anything you want to stock up and investigate the market of the new server you are going to. Then sell those over there.

Couple things I can think of:

(1) Turn in Poetics for Soils to sell on mb

(2) Turn in Creation for NQ mats to sell on mb

(3) Gathering is the best option to go from no gil to having gil all it takes is a little time. Check your mb to see what is worth your time to gather at that particular time

(4) Crafting can make you a lot of gil, however, to maximize profits you should gather everything yourself. The only exception to this would be if it is extremely time consuming and there is a cheap alternative like having a component you can buy from a vendor

(5) Hunts. Save all cracked clusters until materia vi prices hit a high point then dump your stock onto the mb. If you have a lot then diversify across multiple materia types. If you dump too many onto one type you will crash the price and won't make any money.

There’s ways around that though. Can always buy those platinum alamegan things and sell them to an npc once I got there. That should let me take a bulk of my money with me

I'm also not sure I'd vendor V materias - throw them at Mutamix, you have a chance of getting VIs out of it if you're only mixing Vs and I tend to get crafting/gathering VIs out of the upgrades, which are nice change. (Unless the Vs vendor for a lot? I've never checked).

Yeah on my server the difference in gil made from a stack of NQ mats versus a half stack of HQ mats is pretty significant. Easily half a million gil difference on those sloth skins you just mentioned. HQ is just not worth it.
