How long does it take to dye artifact armor from Eureka?

That's really all I want to do. I've yet to try Eureka though.

Body?

Hands?

Feet?

Not long. I got enough for the entire relic weapon by Level 9 which took about a day and a half. Might be faster now for you than it was for me since people know more about what they're doing now.

No not the weapons, just the armor. I want to dye the armor

I'm Lv5 in Eureka (taken part in 3 notorious monster kills) and have 45 Protean Crystals. One piece of armor's first upgrade costs 50 so 250 crystals total. If you go at it with a good group for about an entire day... You might achieve your goal.

The armor pieces cost less then the weapon does, by nearly a third. I only used the weapon as a reference to suggest that you should have enough for the pieces by the time I had enough for the weapon as a sort of comparison since they are cheaper.

It costs 600 Protean crystals and 150 Anemos crystals to upgrade an af piece to 350, which is the first stage it can be dyed. How fast you will be able to do that will depend on how good the instance you are in is at farming NMs and how much play time you put in.

I don't want a glow on my dark knight weapon. I want to be able to dye it red, because... well it would look more like Saber Extra's blade. And my dark knight glamour is based off Saber.

A pretty good chunk of my xp came from the NMs slain, between the 3 probably about 11k worth or so? The rest was grinded out on trash mobs, usually in a group. In larger, more reliable groups we'd grind mobs above our level. Mind you, we were all around the same level so we don't have the higher drop rates higher level mobs do. Factor that with the fact I have not exchanged my Anemos Crystals for Protean Crystals, and the fact RNG is still a factor and it isn't hard to believe. Furthermore, I don't spend all my time in Eureka, and most of my time spent there was on day 1 and 2 for the most part. Things have changed drastically with how players tackle Eureka since the first day or 2.

P.S. It's also possible to get Protean Crystals when your group kills trash mobs while you are a good distance away, thus providing crystals but no xp. I've gotten 1 this way so far.

I don't understand this... I've been following fate chain from lvl 2 to 5 tonight. Killed every nm that spawned. only have like 30 crystals and 20 lockboxes.... where are you getting 600 an hour from

600 Protean/hour is roughly 170 Anemos/hour. If we average the yield of all Fates from 5 (Callisto) to 11 (Serket), we get around 23 Anemos per Fate. You can't do that if you are not getting the Fate's rewards for being too low level, obviously.
So, Ladygrilka is basically claiming to be doing between 6 and 8 Fates per Hour.

From experience, it takes between 10 and 20 minutes for a Fate train to spawn a NM. So, if your train don't split, an average of 4 Fate per hour is what you'd get. 5 If it's good. 6 or 7 if it splits and all Fates are available (requires luck and a lot of coordination).

600/hour is most probably what we'll be able to achieve when the majority of players are getting to ~LV.17. But claiming to to that now, at Lv.12, isn't realistic. Between 300 and 400 is probably a better guess.

Got 5/5 Samurai ilvl350 armor today :D. Just focus on doing NM's and you have that 3000 protean and 750 anemos crystals xD. You also get tons of exp doing that enabling you to fight tougher NM's and get even more crystals.

Tip for people wanting gear faster- get in NM spawn trains. Kill NMs, get anemos crystals and trade them into Gerolt for protean. I made about 500 crystals yesterday doing that. Also nets you a lot of lockboxes.
