question for the forum heroes that hate feast's time limited rewards..

what did you all think of this first day of the season? was it easy? full of bots? win traders?

They probably the ones standing at the mid of map healing like a bot

Or cast protect the 1sec of the game

Inconsistent. Give me a melee that does callouts and knows how to kite and I'll win every single match. Give me a PLD that knows LB timings and I'll win every game.

Force me to read minds and play a burst guessing game and it's 50/50.

Gave up after an hour queuing, like several people I met in Eureka who made the joke "Season 7 of Feast started today... somewhere, but not here" & the like. Too much time to waste in a queue at the risk of falling behind with Eureka.

I was surprised at how long it took to get into a match. Like many, my first priority was to check out Eureka. I took a break, had a nap and then it was NA prime time. I queued up and saw that the estimate was five minutes...but in reality it took twenty to get in a battle. Immediately upon zoning in, I realised there was merit to the complaints about the brightness of the new map. I also recognised some of the names of my opponents. Already they were at bronze rank and they absolutely thrashed my team. Naturally I couldn't relay tactics since the quick chat isn't suited to doing that.

Then, this morning, I tried again. What did I find? The healer on my team immediately ran in circles around the map and refused to heal, handing the victory to the enemy team. At this point, I'm just going to focus on Eureka. So consider this post as yet another throwing in the towel and walking away from FFXIV's PvP. I may continue to dabble in Frontlines/Rival Wings every now and then but as far as Feast is concerned? It just isn't worth it. Especially knowing I could spend a considerable amount of time queuing up and fighting only to never really get anywhere.

But, my dear Theodric, that just *doesn't* happen. You should know by now that people like us are just useless scrubs that can't PVP so make up rumours that are powerful enough to prevent others playing, whilst infiltrating their minds to make them think like us & experience things that simply *don't* happen in PVP. Feast is performing just fine. }XD

Eureka made me want to smash my fingers with a hammer to end the suffering.

Also...why did they bother having us form teams if there's no team competition this season?

Was fun, tank queues are short and I was able to climb relatively easy considering I work a full time job. Can’t complain so far.

I certainly see a lot of so called PvP veterans are not giving any new feast players any chance to grow.
There is this one guy with "Platinum Wolf" title give up after died once because his healer is new and just standing there and let us kill him freely.

They can't grow, because veterans place them in nutrient rich soil... where once they sprout, they get farmed.

It's the circle of life "... and the antelope eat the grass." LOL

I feel like I've grown exceptionally in the time since I started Feasting. I still wish they'd make the leaderboards per server instead of datacenter, or at the very least make rewards account-wide to prevent the proliferation of alts.
