Okay but, don't you blow the candles on your bday cake? You don't pour water on them do you?
Therefore Wind > Fire!

You sure about that? ;3c
I'm more annoyed by the fact they have ice AND water, despite being essentially the same thing - I know I know, final fantasy did this and that, whatever.
Still like Grandia's elements to this day...made more sense to me.
Have you ever tried to light a beanie baby on fire when it was windy as heck out before? I have its impossible.
Try igniting a flame without any air nearby.
This is the same elemental wheel from 1.0 that Yoshi removed from the game because it would be too difficult or whatever.

So why in the world does the element thingy makes Eureka unplayable anyway?
Still like FFXI elemental wheel better :)
This how it should be looking like

1. You cant fight fire with air, you cannot blow up a big fire will only make it stronger.
2. Air pressure melts ice and without it ice would evaporate into the gas
3. Ice breaks rocks and crush it into sand
4. Earth is not conductive
5. water in general is conductive, not pure water tho
6. water extinguish fire.
-Fire melts ice.
-Ice freezes wind.
-Wind blows fire. (Although wouldn't this feed the fire even more?)
-Water turns earth into mud.
-Earth aislates electricity. (Ground)
-Thunder has an increased conductivity on water.
Edit: The thunder interpretration.
The elements have been in the game and lore like this since the start.
Aren't these like the same conditions as Pokemon? Idk, easier to remember that way, lol.
More like
Water> fire
Fire> Ice
Ice > Wind
Wind > Earth
Earth > lightning
Lightning > water
It was a joke you guys, with the memed thread title and just an image i'm surprised people thought I was serious.
I'm just trolling and making a reference to the elemental wheel in 11 (which is pretty spot on imo)

Why are people getting bent out of shape over this. Any element can be strong or weak to another with the proper justification. Thankfully, these justifications make sense at least. As someone said its like Pokemon, you may look at the strength and weaknesses, but they make sense in the lore of the game. Like i could say water is strong agsinst earth when referring to rocks and the land, but if I'm referring to plants water is weak.
