Anyone still having trouble with Click and Buy?

I figure this might be a stupid question, but I thought I would ask just as a precaution.

Are a majority of people still having trouble getting their payment to go through? I've noticed that the Click and Buy page will time out and not take my credit card when I do try to pay.
So..yeah. Community still having issues paying, or am I just making some oblivious mistake typing in numbers? :cool:

Hi Cyan,

Is there a specific error message that you're encountering?

Such as the account being blocked, that the credit card page just refreshes and you have to retype it, or that you will have to verify the account first?

And you wouldn't happen to be using American Express would you?

If Crysta is an available option without getting the error message of "you have multiple browser windows open", I highly recommend it over the Click and Buy option.

It would essientially just say "There was an error saving your data", and then refresh the page. Oh, and I have Visa.

Annnywho I did indeed end up biting the bullet and just buying Crysta(buying it with Click and Buy...ironically). I suppose it shall work for now!

If you're having trouble with C+B just use UltimatePay, which can go through PayPal. Haven't had a problem yet.

Good to hear that you at least had the extra options available. For many people it is sadly not that simple.

A lot of people dont have this.... Its been said about a gazillion times lol.

I think it's pretty clear that Square Enix just doesn't care about the convenience and safety of the customers that it is providing a service to. I invite them to prove me wrong and or otherwise.

I guess what has me sitting here going "hmm" is the fact that it wouldn't let me do Click and Buy directly, but it would let me pay for Crysta through Click and Buy just fine.

I set it up fine for myself on the 6th but last week my roomate tried to set his up and got an error code 105 after setting c2b up and trying to reactivate his char. I ended up buying crysta for him (i think it perma saved my CC info in his portal now so great thanks a lot for that s/e) and he got in. I was not in a very good mood for like 2 hours until i caved in and just bought him a month of subscription.

I tried using C & B back at launch, and a week later someone in the UK tried to use my card info to buy plane tickets and lodging @_@; Card company stopped it, been buying Ultimate Gamer Cards ever since...

Are ultimate gamer cards to be found where you can buy other gift cards?

Oh wait! I had bought some for my kids a couple of years ago... Never mind ><;

click and buy timed out so many times that my credit card was locked because they thought someone was trying to steal money from me or something.... I ended up unlocking it and buying crysta and then buying time lol

Oh right. Click and Buy. Thanks for reminding me that my 7 day wait period is over! :D

Eh... Me thinks there is no point and Click-and-lose now that there is direct debit/credit options.

I have C&B and I'm being charged $44 for my 3 characters. I don't think thats correct but its hard to tell. What I see is they are charging me $9 for each one. I thought for the two extras it was 3 more. Not sure please help.

It is $3 per each character, not just additional. The basic service fee doesn't cover any characters. I would make sure you signed up for the characters right, otherwise I'd take a closer look at Click & Buy.

Actually, personally I'd just cancel my C&B account altogether if I were you and either use Ultimate Gamer Cards to buy Crysta, or simply use the direct billing method that's now available.

Silly question but what is the currency you are quoting there because that does not sound right if it is USD. I paid about 22 euro through click and buy for basic service fee and 5 characters (which is the correct total). That works out to be about NZ$36.

Edit: on second thought, did you pay for three months upfront? That would add up to $45.

Yeah I went back and looked and it said I paid for 3 months so its all good.
