That Steam release for Chrono Trigger has me Chrono Triggered. Dunno why they thought an iOS port would be acceptable on the PC. Plus they ruined the great pixel graphics of the original with that filter :(

So I guess this is gonna be a thing. While we're at it let's invite Lara Croft and the group of Randi Primm and Popoi to Eorzea as well. Plenty of dungeons Lara can raid seeking tombs within and all sorts of Aether the Secret of Mana gang can seek believing it to be Mana. We can also make one big crossovers request thread for more games to collab with this one.

Chrono Trigger is my personal favorite game of all time, I've personally played through it more times than I can count. However, the only thing I want regarding the Chrono series from SE is a handwritten letter of apology for the existence of Chrono Cross and an open campaign to destroy all disks of it in existence. Also they chose the worst version to port, I'll stick to the remake on the DS that I consider to be the definitive copy of the game.

Saying it is much easier than them actually being able to do it. They need to have all necessary permissions and such before any cross-over can be done, even bringing back past music has to have this as well. Do they own all rights? Do they need to contact someone for permission?
Honestly wondering how many people actually think 'Will they have permissions to even think about doing so?' -

It feels like this is less a question of whether they can, and more a question of why would they at all? Cross overs tend to be promotions for other IPs in some sense; what is there to promote about CT? A Steam release of a port? Seems a bit of a stretch to justify that.
