All gone? :( again?

Hardly.

At least not on Cactuar. Shirogane is all sold out but a few smalls remain in Lavender Beds and a surprising amount in the Mist. Naturally, everyone avoided Goblet like it's a plague, xD

I was excited to get neighbors but all the smalls in my wards are still open >: (Not all... but a lot.)

Still quite a few on Tonberry, can see about 40 small plots in Mist alone~

There's still some smalls left in the ward I'm in. Gilgamesh, Mist Ward 13 if anyone is interested. :)

I think people thought that the problem would be solved because they said 'we will solve housing issues'. While it's not really an 'issue', it's just not enough quantity.

On my server, there is still space available. I do not know where the thread owner wants, but are not you free like "goblet butte"?

3 years there is not enough house.
4.1 yoshida said "oh we thougth we would satisfay everyone, we failed with only 720 house, so sorry, we will work hard to fix it for 4.2"
Work hard = block 3 weeks personnal housing, and just adding 1440 estate...

(was not the exact terms, but from this, during interviews and LL he said they were working on new system to satisfy everyone in 4.2... )

I didn't get online until a good few hours after maintenance ended on Mateus and managed to snag a small plot in Mist. There's still two next door to my new home, too.

Balmung has a few spots open still, but they're all on the timer due to the previous owner relocating from it.

Even quiet servers are far from 'dead'. It's not like every single player enjoys flocking to a single bloated server, either. There's many legitimate merits to small/medium population servers.

Realistically, there's a high chance that less people are interested in buying a house as they cannot resell it to another player any longer.

This might sound kinda mean, but... honestly? I logged in, cleared the first 3 raids in about an hour, and there were still plots left for sale in Shirogane. Checked the other housing cities, there were A LOT more. This was in Jenova.

Asked my friends in Gilgamesh, same thing there, though significantly less wards open in Shirogane.

So basically, if you didn't get a house... it's like, I mean... did you even log in after maintenance? .__.

There are no dead servers. These days even the smallest servers have a decent sized population.

how long is the timer?

I logged in before work this morning to see if my friends were able to get their houses, and noticed there's still a ton of smalls left. None in Shirogane, of course, but everywhere else yeah.

I don't know how things are on Jenova, but did you run by any of the properties to see if people were camping it? It could be that they're just open due to them recently being vacated recently.

On Balmung, we have at least 35 spots free (didn't get through counting Shiro/2nd page of Uldah), but each of them is camped waiting for that timer to end. The housing here is essentially as good as gone.

Honestly other then Shirogane, on Faerie there's quite a few houses still up.

Not sure why everyone avoided Goblet, I quite love the area my medium is in and have for months. Now I just need neighbors other then the large FC.

Odin here, definitely not dead, and still a few on Mist, some in Lavender and a lot in Goblet (all small mind you).
Shirogane meanwhile is all sold. Not quite getting the hype with that area, it's not even that well designed but eh, guess it's because it's new.

did a quick tour 'round mally and there are FAR more houses open than i anticipated. (i didn't check shiro bc teleport fee lmao) but a few days before, the newer wards we're practically full there.

and this is coming from a medium pop server where there are almost always people around... definitely not dead/obscure. but maybe housing isn't as important on my server than it is on others idk. :v

Leviathan has plots open. We're the second largest active player server behind Balmung (which also has plots open). Honestly if you haven't gotten a plot by now, it's on you.

Shiro full ? Cant wait to see my neighbours :D

And yeah it's on me that the lobby system crashed when I signed in at 10.00am exactly, booting me (and god knows how many others) out of the game and forcing me to come back to a queue and server that was already bought up.

There are still open plots on Balmung though. Seems to only be in the Goblet and Mist but i didn't check EVERY ward. however they are all on timers. It sucks the game booted you, It really is :( but if you want a house bad enough I think people will wait out the timers.

Only for one of the other people who are activley camping it to take it? I'm sure if I just hang in there the 8, 12, 24 whatever hours this unknown timer is i'll get a space right?

Gilgamesh here, still plots open across all wards. I'm surprised.

I only looked at LB since I have a house there but there are a lot of small houses available and I even found a couple of mediums that are about to drop in price. On top of that nobody was camping any of the plots I rode by. I still don't think the new wards will come close to meeting demand but it seems to be less of a free for all this time (on my server at least).

Im just waiting for all the backlash threads about "How unfair! No housing in Shiro!" while meanwhile in Goblet... we eat popcorn with houses to spare. ;)

The sad thing is i'm well aware of that. I hope you can imagine the venom in my voice.

The excessive competition for a plot on Balmung is simply a consequence of playing on one of the biggest servers. If owning a house is a major goal for a player there and they don't already own one then they'd be better off moving elsewhere.

7 plots been freed since this morning near me and surprised have not been taken. I'm in Balmung -.- I guess people don't want them.

Hmmm 3 mill for a personal one. I have a mansion solo FC I could just buy it for kicks maybe on my alternate -.-. guess I can buy it FC mode then for more airships and subs. Having to play it an d get it to rank 8 again sooo lazy.

As of 449 ServerTime on Sargatanas there are still more than 30 houses available in each starter city. Only shirogane is full. Seems like the new restrictions are working? Sarg usually had everything sold out within minutes.
