Shout-out to Yoshi-P and team - Thank YOU!

IMO, I thought the recent housing implementation was a huge success!

1) It addressed rampant Free Company (single character control-hoarding house) issue and allowed existing functional ones to have priority in housing selection.
2) It provided existing homeowners an opportunity to migrate to a new desired location.
3) And, future homeowners, be cheerful when you are ready to buy you will be getting these opening plots at a discounted rate!!

Some folks might feel otherwise, however, leaving bitter at the door, let's cheer on Yoshi-P and the team for their hard work and continuing effort in listening to the community.

In more worried exactly when they'll release the Embargo, I work a lot so if it's doing prime time (5pm-7pm) I'm screwed and lost my chance

It helped a few lucky people and free companies but LARGELY disappoints.

Best most FCs could hope for was a medium plot, as there were very few large plots added in the update, and most were snatched up within a few minutes of the server opening. In my ward all 3 larges were taken by a private owner relocating.

Also, for "future homeowners" all this does is kick the can down the road for another mad race to pick up the small plot scraps leftover.

Housing is still inherently critically flawed and you should NOT be thanking the devs for this.

I couldn't agree more. 2/3 larges in my ward were taken by FCs (ours included) and day 1 it was 100x more active than my ward in Shirogane EVER was. This was a great patch and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out for us.

Still larges open on my server today. You're within your rights to disapprove, but please don't try to speak for every player or every server. Housing is far, far from perfect but the steps they've taken with this last release are the first they've done in an extremely long time (maybe even since it was introduced?) to combat the rampant problems it has. I'm just relieved that they've finally acknowledged it as a problem.

So thank you, SE, for the effort. Let's hope that this is only the start of what ultimately leads to a solution.

Some of the adjustments were good, but there are still huge problems still needing to be addressed. More so with FC's. There is not enough large plots for FC's. I have nothing against players owning privately own large plots, what I do have a problem with is the limited number of large plots needed for larger FC housing. Within 5 minutes after servers were brought back up they were gone. In the new wards of both Mist and Lavender beds 20 of those larges went to privately owned. So yes for FC's, it would be all about the "Luck" when they are competing with both other FC's and private owners as well.

SE should have made FC housing in a district area all to itself. Also, making that to own a small you had to have 4+ active members, Mediums 7+ and 10+ for Large. There is so much that SE could have made even better. I hope they still plan to, I would have loved to upgrade my crowded little medium fc house to large.

You just have been lucky enough this time and fortunatly for you, you haven't received the nice bug which forbid you to buy or moove and let the others buy the plot in front of you.

We shouldn't fight so much for just a feature like housing come on!!

I think we don't live on the same planet.

I'm going to thank SE in housing matters when they finally create an instanced plot that anyone can buy, customize and upgrade at will and leisure. Bonus points if the exterior landscape can be customized as well.

I'm pretty sure this fix helped more people than it hurt, so thanks Yoshi P! You did your best with what you're given and I appreciate it.

Thank you Yoshi for allowing me and my SO to relocate to our dream larges :)

30+ mediums still up
Idk how many smalls but a huge amount

I too would like to thank Mr. Yoshi-P and team for how they handled this last housing release. Our FC was able to buy a medium in Beds and although it was such an adrenaline rush to do it, it wasn't stressful/traumatic at all. In fact my insides were shaking the moment the purchase went through, like did that really just happen? Couldn't believe it. Mediums and larges in Hyperion were snatched up pretty quickly, too. Even so, there was no bloodbath nor salt. So, yes, good job indeed.
