Fansite Addition to Lodestone list please

I started this thread back in January for 1 site and have since added 2 more.

Please hit the Like button to have the 3 following websites added to the Lodestone Fan site list which is here: Fansite List


disciplesoftheland.com Kida Kalastus on Masamune owns DoL. Fyi.. he also ran finalfishing.com for ffxi for all those many years.

Mooglebox.com Jet Chan on Balmung owns Mooglebox.

xivpads.com. Premium Virtue on Gungnir owns Xivpads.

All 3 sites are run by very competent and capable people/teams and constantly updated and continually growing. The sites require a lot of time and hard work.

If you have not already.. I highly suggest you visit each site as they are unique in their own way and will make the game that much more enjoyable.

As for the site I am a Moderator on.. Disciplesoftheland has been up since the game came out and has never left and always been attended to and updated by Kida. It's that kind of dedication that makes his site, mooglebox and xivpads well worth your time.

I use it daily as well. It's an amazing resource.

It is very much useful for my fishing needs... as my fishing pools don't glow all shiny like the other DoL ones, lol.

This site is an excellent resource for gatherers and I hope it gets added to Lodestone's fan site list.

Well I sent them a message via the suggestion option on the contact page. Maybe that will work lol.

I asked them to list the sites mentioned in this thread along with the DoL site I asked for.

I really hope this gets amended, some of the sites listed are barely functioning and often become hugely out dated (Pro... Yg...) If not any time soon, please I beg for at least 2.0 when the new guys come in.

(Prepair for heartwarming speech) *ehm* All 3 of our sites have stood by SE when the going got tough, we didn't care for the state of the game and let our sites whittle down, because we love what this game is and where it is going. We all work hard, and we keep things up to date, patching our sites sometimes hours after SE update, but it is saddening to still see sites that are so out dated, very inactive and slowly brushing away from this game be still recognized on the fansites page.

It will make the game stronger when they have access to these resources without being told by someone else.

Should have been there since day 1.

I agree with Viion above me. Many of the sites I have personally found to be either A.) outdated and never updated or B.) updated rarely in which case I usually can't find the information when I need the information. XIVpads has continued to grow since its initial launch on the Final Fantasy scene and it has been an amazing experience from a user perspective. Premium Virtue and his team have taken much feedback from the player community and added many new features, and continue to do so. You can expect that information you need to find is there, or at the very least accessible from there. I have yet to approach that site with a question and not been given an answer. If PV himself or one of his team members does not have the answer or information I need, one of the many members is always there in their stead. I could continue to ramble as to why this site needs to be added, but I do not feel it necessary. The site speaks for itself.

I use every days Mooglebox and xivpads. Those site are really good.
DoL is good too, I use it for fishing and Grand Company items.

Add them please, these websites are great!

The page has been removed all together! Heres to hoping they are not doing that permanent and will be putting it up with a true list of fan sites!

Seems you can only view the Fansite page when under US Language, boo, we support multi-language!

Those are my top three sites! XIVpads is chocked full of interesting tidbits. Moogbox is so well designed, it runs extremely fast and is thoughtfully arranged.

I fear this will not be seen or ever answered to, infact I am 100% sure this whole "FEEDBACK" section is ignored. XD

Well, I assume that there's a different team responsible for maintaining the Lodestone than the team that is responsible for maintaining the forums. A forum team-member would have to go out of his/her way to make sure our request was received by those responsible for maintaining the Lodestone.

And yes, if you're a staff member reading this, then you will forever be our hero if you follow through with this.

Well I had to try and from what the mods/devs say "Likes" are the way to get your threads noticed and they do read these threads because I've seen replies in other threads saying so in this section.

I've also emailed them in various ways so I've done all I can and appreciate all the replies and Likes to the OP. Sites like ours deserve some respect but eh.. the community knows our sites and the almighty Lodestone doesn't make or break a fan site's legacy. We all know who the top dogs are.. but hit Like anyways. XD

Well the reason I say it, is because its been over 4 month since original request, that was for 1 site. But they also seem to have stopped updating Lodestone, and even the forums. They used to do maintenance every Tuesday to add additional features to the forum/site, Which got cancelled quite a while ago and no new changes since.

It could be that there is a whole new "lodestone" coming for 2.0, who knows nothing has been said. But I think Lodestone development has stopped. =(

There is also numerous bugs on lodestone that SE have yet to fix.

well if nothing else it's good advertising I guess and I'm sure new members have joined up to all of them and appreciate finding out about them that did not know before.

XIVPADS really improved my experience with this game. Great site, very resourceful.

Pretty nice resource for crafting/gathering as well. It's a little more visual for people who don't like looking through so much text.

I know others from the 3 sites I listed have used that site and it is very visually pleasing. I can't get it to display in FFox 12.0 correctly though so can't use it but I will pass that along to the sites owner. Definitely updated though and another example of a great fan site that should probably be listed.

Love these sites, Disciples of the land has helped me a ton (& made me lots of gil!)

Thank you. They've been asked for a reply from various players in any fashion and I suspect that something new will be done for 2.0 but I still hound them about it here and there especially when you have sites like Guild Portal listed on there >.>
