[SUGGESTION] Shirogane base interior detail

This is about shirogane base interior detail.
Each estate have their own unique interior detail and most of them are neutral color(brown) and looks pretty good with the options of interior wall designs we got available atm.

shirgoane got.. red thing that doesnt go along with any red colored interior wall.
(Interior walls like riveria flora and fortemps manor cuse they both have different shades of red)

MY SUGGESTION IS: replace them or recolor them to a neutral color.(brown)
I prefer make them into a wood.

I used to live in medium sized goblet and i LOVED Their base interior detail but it didnt fit with my shirogane castle wall house.. but in overtime i dislike how bad asthetic design goblet is on OUTSIDE compared to others so i to moved to a small house in shirogane

It doesnt bother me that much but i feel they need replace the red and green thing.

now that fake windows are available, they should just make all the walls blank and add partitions that are 5 and 10 times longer than the current ones. This will allow players to line a whole wall with the specific wall they want then place windows anywhere they want.

Get rid of all the pillars in the houses and let people just place pillars since we can craft those.

I agree, that interior bit is why I'm hesitant to move from the Goblet as well. But I guess I'll try and if I can't relocate then whatever nothing lost.

I personally hate Shirogane's interiors... but there are probably people who enjoy it and would hate to have it changed.

We just need the option to color or change these fixed interior parts.

Yeah true that... most of my friends got disapointed when they saw the interior cuse they wanted fortemps wallpaper but those red colors clashes..

i like the colors, but it would be nice to have a dye option for those that don't!

Does anyone have a suggestion for working around this? I am trying to decorate my the interior of my Shirogane house but I can't find a floor/wall combo that looks good with the red base detailing?

If you can get the glitch that puts the fake windows on the partitions to behave... =A=

This so much. It would benefit each of the housing interior styles.

I didn't see this as an issue when I had a shirogane house, I just made the house look eastern to go with it. But I do agree with all the housing like goblet has terrible design, not a fan of the riviera pillars in mist. They should let us twink more since housing is more popular and we have fake windows and everything. Let us remove the old small ones and change ceiling light positions etc.

It depends how subtle you want this to be and how large your space is. The black or white marble floors both look good with a lot of the walls. Plain white walls with the gold leaf wallpaper from the Mogstation look good and I saw one stunning house on our server where they mixed that with panels in Dalamud Red and Black. Strong lighting on plants and other features made a really unforgettable interior.
Personally, I've used gold wallpaper on one floor and the House Borel wallpaper combined with black marble flooring upstairs, that last combo is a bit dark though, so I'm still experimenting. If I was going for subtle, I'd go for the plain white walls in pale colours or the Goblet default walls which look surprisingly good.

I'd suggest playing around with the lighting if you aren't sure you like something or it seems just a little off. The new Classic Chandelier casts a strong yellow light (sad face), while the Alpine Chandelier casts a strong red, which is nice for warming up pale walls and floors.
Because the ceilings are high, I'm basically ignoring the coving rather than trying to match it.

It is challenging but the more I work with it, the more I like it. If you are looking for inspiration, Housing Snap, FFXIV Housing websites and Hancock's office in-game are good places to start.
