Any multi plot owners tried relocation yet?

As title says; have any of you multi personal plot owners tried relocation yet? Did it work? I'm asking for a friend. ..

The live letter translation, the patch notes and the new housing website all explicitly say that you can relocate without issues while owning multiple grandfathered estates.

I doubt anyone's had a free house be open (would require someone transferring servers or relinquishing for some arbitrary reason) yet to try it.

Demolition is back on. I'd say there are probably some houses that will be opening up from that.

Highly unlikely. As per the notice posted on the Lodestone, anyone that has entered their property over the last 4~5 months will have had their auto-demolition timer reset as of the server going live this morning.

People that failed to step into their property will have their timer resume from where it left off on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 1:10 a.m. (PDT).

100% auto demo is back on. I checked all zones on top of every hr since patch went live. Here's what I found total from auto demo: 2 goblet smalls, 1 mist small, and 3 lav beds smalls . Not a single med/large.

Omega server is pretty similar, 2 goblets, 1 mist, 1 lavender, all small. Lots of people confused as to when they can buy it as no sort of timer at all (are people just supposed to keep clicking the placard for what might potentially be days?)

Personal housing isn't available right now, so that won't help matters if it's a bunch of people trying to do that.

But generally speaking, yes. They hid and randomized the timer as a means of introducing a lottery system to the game. With the caveat that someone can relocate into it and effectively reset the timer at any time (by taking that one and having their old home opened up).

My friend tried to buy a plot, was told not available to purchase, privately and doesn't own a plot, I tried, it would let me go as far as confirming if i want to relocate my estate, of course i selected No as i don't want to move. Another player tried to buy plot with FC with no house and was not able to purchase it. And we have a bunch of free plots on Omega right now...

Personal purchases are restricted right now. Only FCs can buy at the moment. However, personal house owners can relocate.

I relocated. Found a nicer spot and moved my house, but it was a small to another small plot. Smalls seem to be the only plots being given up right now :)

Makes me wonder if any at all opened up on Balmung.

I would like to move our guild cottage somewhere else even if the place we currently have is op, but there are no free plots on my server yet rippo
