I got the WVR and ALC master recipe books before the servers went down. I noticed they took all the specialist requirements off the old recipes and none of the new wvr/alc recipes need a specialist. Anyone got the other books? Are there no more specialist recipes then?

That is what I am seeing to, nothing is locked behind specs but there is a pretty decent script grind for them and the new item pellitory is 500 yellows per. New gathered mats are folklore book locked and need more gather and percep as well.

yup you need yellows scripts too but the mats and creations. 1200 red scripts per book, so you got to grind those yellows

Not having items behind specialists makes having a specialist lose a lot of its luster. Aside from the increase in stats what is the point? The increase is not even needed to craft the current 3 star recipes...
