What is your favourite item for glamour?

For me it's the Expeditioner's thigh boots. I use them time and again :) I love the way they dye, no awkward lighter shades that look rubbish. Just my favourite piece :D what's yours?

I tend to default too much on wedding high heels. And monks esoteric headpiece. So I guess this are my favorites.

I am very fond of the flower corsages you can put in your hair. :3 As well as the Makai Markswoman's headpiece (Butterfly for BRD/MCH from the Garo event). I usually always have it or a flower in my character's hair, and I always wear my Firecrest earring because I slaved away for that thing. ;-; I also always have my Eternity Ring glamoured on~.

It's also a shame you can't get a version of the bandanna for NIN/ROG that doesn't have the mask but the MNK recolor gets one that is dyeable...but can't be equipped by NIN/ROG...genius!

Outside of having my wedding ring glammed to my left ring slot at all times...I don't quite have a consistent "Always glammed to every glam." piece. Well, I guess my gold dyed Elegant Rimless Glasses. It's used on a lot of job glams. So yeah, those. :)

The only truly universally glammed item I use is the platinum paramour earrings... almost equally used are the emperors new necklace, rings, bracelet... also a fan of the extreme survival shirt and slops

Personally I love the Odin's helmet

I always use the Cait Sith Ears. On every glamour. I think they are adorable. :o

The Sipahi Turban is a staple of my main job's glamours.

It made one particular cutscene in 4.1 extra funny to me.

It really is a shame. I love the top because of the tattoos that come with it. I'd love to be able to wear it on other jobs. ;-;

I like putting my character in a skirt in just about every glamour I use. Problem is I didn't like the majority of the skirts in the game. Enter in the Faire Kohakama from last summer's event. It's a nice skirt and has leggings which looks great with the Blackbosom Boots from the MogStation. They can be also be covered up with some thigh boots if you don't want them seen.

the Yukata from Moonfire Faire 2014 + Monocle (currently the Scion Adverturer's) <3<3<3 I've had several gear glamoured with them, and as I have fantasia'd a lot, I've glamoured both male and female sets. :3

Me too! If I don't have a flower piece in my character's hair, I feel like that her head is naked XDD She also must wear earrings that matches her outfit too!

My response to the thread:
For me, I describe my character's fashion as elegant and cute; so if the glamour piece fits the description, best believe she will wear it multiple times.
To be specific, The Ao Dai, Far Eastern Garb set, High Summoner (Yuna) set, Shisui set, and sometimes the yukatas (along with either the shorts or the Tafetta loincloth for bottoms) I end up picking them if I can't think of a unique glam for my character (well daahh, they're all FAR EASTERN themed lol). I should wear my Scion outfit more since Tataru made it for me...I'm horrible T^T

I rather like the Falconer's Shirt. I use it as part of my pirate/musketeer combination MCH glam thing. It looks neat enough. I'm also pretty fond of the Astral Silk Robe. It made a SOLID Gun Mage chest piece for my MCH.

I rarely find gloves that I like, so I'd say Claws of the Beast are my number one go-to piece.

Ao dai, Eternal boots of devotion and Hempen Camise.

Heroic Spirit Shield. As soon as I get a new shield I glam it with that, then equip it.

Though, honestly I do like my shield when it's drawn, I just don't like it on my back since it clips with my hair/tail and blocks a good 1/3 of my characters body leaving me staring at a pair of legs, arms, and a head sticking around this giant slap of metal where ever I go. Would be kind of nice to get a /hide offhand command to hide the shield without hiding the sword when sheathed, as I like having the sword at my side, and show both when drawn, but since it took this long just to get the Heroic Spirit Shield I'll just quietly be grateful for what I did finally get.

Wolfliege boots!! I just wish we would get a universal version so i can put them on more than just my blm

For me it's any of the small eyepatches. It's an instant glamour. I just wish they would make a level 1 eyepatch for all roles for the left eye since most eyepatches are left. Gryphonskin Eyepatch is a right eye and huge. I'd prefer smaller like level 5 eyepatch.

Serge/Cashmere poncho. I can never decide which one I like more.

Also the Skalla casting top is adorable.

The Halonic Priest's Ring is always glamoured onto my left-side ring, whether it's visible or not, since it's got the House Fortemps crest on it and I am a silly, sentimental person. I use the matching choker fairly often, too, though that I'll change to match my current glamour.

I also use the Black Summer Trunks about 90% of the time, along with a pair of thighboots (Expeditioner's and Adept's are both favorites) in order to simulate the shorts and thigh highs effect, since the only items male characters can wear with that model are tank-only. The other 10% of the time I'm either wearing a different color Summer Trunks, or the MSQ has guilted me into putting on real pants by making me tromp through the snow.

Definitely the wedding boots. They're sleek and elegant. I wish we had more high heel options, but everything added since just seems disproportionately bulky or has unnecessary accessories that don't match other parts of my outfit.

I love using Forager's Shoes; they look great with just about everything.

I dunno if I'd say it's my favorite, but the gryphonskin eye-patch is the only eye-patch the covers the right eye that isn't monk/sam only. So it get's used a lot on my main character.

I like skirt glamour's.

I have different gear on each of my glams... but I adore the Peach Blossom earrings and choker. Every glam has them equipped.

Spring Skirt, Baron/Ala Mhigan Earrings, Peach Blossom Earrings, Eternity Ring and Meteor Survivor Ring, and Archeoskin Boots are probably my most commonly used items for glamour (the Spring Skirt especially).

A special mention must also be made of the Riviera Dress as not only is that my body glamour for AST, I actually equip it properly as Enki's 'casual'/'day' dress when RPing - I just love the old-fashioned look to it. :D

Adept's thighboots/High house boots are things I have to try really hard to not use.

Acolyte's skirt - it just goes so well with mage robes of all kinds. I just wish it was dyeable and we could remove the socks.

Flat caps/hats.

Plain one, feathered one and Postmoogle.

I'd be a happy camper if they'd hurry-up and unlock the gathering Ironwork's cap/set to all classes. I don't think the Forager's set took this long.
