Need advice on new server to transfer to.

Currently, I am on Masamune, but I wish to move to NA legacy server EXCLUDING BALMUNG. Can anyone suggest one that has decent players? I thank you in advance for your suggestions.

The place with the most suggestions or likes gets the win.

Truth be told it's a pretty kind and friendly server from what I've seen. I've been here since the 1.0 server merges and time before that too.
With cross-server raid finder and such you'll not be hard pressed to find content to do, but if you're looking for local activities, there are FC's that do many of these. Everything from holiday events, to social gatherings, to eRP.
And because it's on Primal, you won't be paired up with anyone from Balmung, since they're on the Aether data centre.

The novice network is helpful but social. Questionable members have mostly left it or have been driven to minimal participation. It's over all a helpful piece.
Hunts linkshells are pretty lenient in offering a slice to everyone. The crazy idea of not needing to hunt to get the rewards is thriving still.
If you strike up a conversation with a stranger you pass by in the world, you can usually expect a nice reply.

Overall you can put me as "for" Hyperion.

I like Malboro. It has good community. I m happy to be part of it. I highly recommend it.

I'm not sure what qualifies as a "Legacy" server and Coerl might not be one, but it's a smaller server with a lot of nice people. Maybe not the best for raiding if you want a static of all same server people though.

I second this, Hyperion is the best server I have been on since 2.0

Cactuar has a decent population on it these days.

The only NA Legacy servers are Balmung, Excalibur, Hyperion, and Sargatanas. Balmung is being excluded from my choices.

I'd suggest, when you meet nice people in duties, to ask their server, then after a while and when collected enough stats, move to the server with higher count.

Jenova is where I am based. It's a decent all-around, run of the mill server with an excellent bastion of dedicated FCs. My FC in particular has members with a penchant for online golf. It's not one of the more highly touted servers as seen by the posters on these forums, so I would like to vouch for those on Jenova. Give this place a shot, and I'll see you around! :cool:
