What the friggin fek is the lolita style?
I think what you're looking for would be the Edda outfit from the mogry kiosk.

It is a conservative, Neo-Victorian style of dress popular in Japan. It is cutesy, the style usually coming with a knee-lengthed, bell-shaped skirt, stockings, and mary jane shoes. There are different type of lolitas everywhere. This blog is pretty popular for explaining the style: http://fyeahlolita.blogspot.com/2013...olita.html?m=1

These are your best bet atm, altho Songbird won't be available till next year on the mog shop.
Theres no proper lolita outfits in game, the Edda and the maid sets are probably the closest silhouettes
The Valerian priest/dark priest top from Castrum Abania is pretty classic lolita imo.
Thanks for the replies, I’m currently using the high house outfit just thought there would be more of a selection
I am just waiting warmly for the FFXIV x BABY collab or FFXIV x Alice & The Pirates, maybe FFXIV x Angelic Pretty.
Will also pay mog station crystals for virtual burando.
I don't want Edda's dress, what I want is this:

Make it happen!... :)
Some of the PvP Makai gear is close to what you want for that. Sigma. We already have those shoes in game, the Valentione Patterns are very close to it.
Being into lolita fashion myself, I'd love to see more loli-able items ingame! Or at least I've been hoping for any cute headbow or side crowns, since I kinow that a FFXIV/Angelic Pretty colaboration is an impossible dream, haha.
Side note:
I'd just like to point out that's not really lolita fashion. It's more an otaku gothic lolita cosplay (>_<;
Please be aware that lolita is a real fashion and a lifestyle, and shouldn't be mistaken with costumes.
You can make some with some of the glam items and some of the healer sets.
I doubt Square Enix cares at all about "real fashion and a lifestyle" to give us a whole line of lolita outfits, a single well made costume like the one I want would be enough for most players, it doesn't really matter, we will never get it because it's SE after all!...
I wouldn't mind seeing it. We could use more kneelength skirts that are a separate piece from the body slot.
Of course the OP is a lala...

I wondered how long it would take before someone tried to make the connection between lolita fashion and peoples popular misconception about lolita in general. neither have really anything to do with young or little girls, but mention it and people automatically imagine some slutted up child then accusations (or insinuations) of pedo ring out. its both sad and funny.
You can't really fault people from English speaking countries for thinking Lolita fashion might have some direct relation with the novel Lolita. It is still funny for those who are well-versed in the fashion though because the entire point of Lolita is creating a modern fashion consisting of cute, modest, and frilly dresses. Emphasis on modest because true irl on-brand Lolita dresses are supposed to have a skirt silhouette similar to a cupcake and are not supposed to rise more than an inch or two above the knee when worn properly (right at knee is preferred but the good labels don't tend to design for tall people).
Ah, I also think we aren't getting any real lolita items. But that's fine with me because this is a fantasy game with its own world, and it has its own fashion that doesn't need to reflect the hundreds of real life fashion subcultures. That's why I never demanded lolita fashion in Eorzea (not saying I'd complain if we got it, haha ;;; )
Lolita sounds like a prozzie. So no thanks we don't want this game to become a world full of stupid anime characters.
This is a Final Fantasy game - we're already as anime as we can get without actually being anime...
On topic: As a lover of the Lolita fashion style since I was in middle school, having more dresses in the game with the classic silhouette and general design of the clothing would be really nice. The maid outfit works but it's still more in line with a cosplay than a Lolita dress - and Edda's has similar issues as well with it simply sharing a silhouette of a Gothic Lolita dress. We don't need full blown burando prints from Baby, The Stars Shine Bright or anything - but stuff with the overall look and appearance would be nice for the future!
While we are discussing lolita outfits, I want to see outfits like these ones, for the male characters.

Make it happen SE, about time the lads get some good quality outfits.
I think this style looks like a doll, the kind people collect on shelves with the ribbons and 19th-century style clothes. I saw on NHK a few years ago that they also have a goth version of this style and it had a lot of striped socks and corsets.
As a goth I wouldn't say no to goth lolita.

I'm sorry (not really) but that photo of 4 girls in huge blonde hair I find incredibly creepy and somewhat disturbing.
It's a real life functional and wearable fashion with a lot of diversity in styles and cuts, even including male clothes, kodona and ouji styles. FFXIV has anime costumes that nobody would wear in real life, certainly some things nobody would pay 600 in dollars to own.
Some of the companies like BTSSB actually do a lot of collabs with things like games just like FFXIV does with anime and other games. It would be like a match made in heaven if you ask me.
One or two of the gear contest entries seemed inspired by the fashion too if I remember correctly.
The set from pharos sirius hard and the sharlayan greenhouse one with the bees I forget the name of had airs of it. Like how the trim was done.
Also y'all keep posting the really weird costume-y coords or anime. Here are some better examples.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry at your ignorance.
On topic, though, I'd love to see some outfits in this style!
My glamours are always conservative, so this would suit me just fine.
I agree some of that just looks like things ppl found with a generic google search. You can find extensive library of all brands and collections over the years collected at lolibrary.org
The ones posted before are generic sweet style and shironuri in sweet lolita. The ones you posted from IW are classic lolita which is a different style, Mary Magdalene and Jane Marple also do some good classic, Victorian Maiden is good too.
The older black and white lolita style isn't really as popular anymore. The full black style seems to continue as it's own thing with brands like Moi-meme-Moitie
Sweet is more from Angelic Pretty and Metamorphose. BABY still does some sweet but their strengths I find are really in their beautiful prints and their Alice & The Pirates brand.
You can even find casual styles with MILK and Emily Temple Cute.
Yeah I'm honestly not great with it either and what I am familiar with is pretty dated because I'm mostly just remember stuff from like 2010-2013 when I was active on /cgl/ for cosplay shenanigans. Still run into things like

in my files sometimes though and it all comes flooding back.
I'd like to see more gothic lolita pieces, personally. I think they are gorgeous more than anything. My GF dresses herself as a gothic lolita and goes to conventions, I'm sure she'd love that too.
Yeah, I've literally never heard of this fashion style before. It either doesn't exist where I live or it is so niche that it might as well not. When someone talks about Lolita's where I'm from they're referring to either a Pedophile or a young girl who throws herself at older man. TBH judging by the screenshots I've seen on this thread I still think it's kinda creepy. /shrug
