[Suggestions] FC related content, what yould you like?

The next update will introduce FC submarine but they will still be tide to having a house.

Beside that there is very small FC content today. Diadem is dead for now. So i was thinking of making suggestions

For exemple appartment like housing for FC so that they can do airship/submarine/crafting. One place, like a one room headquarters with the basement.
I don't know it has been already suggest or if it is even possible but that was an idea.

It's time for XIV to introduce our version of PvE battlegrounds like the battles of epic fantasy movies such as Lord of the rings, it's time to introduce our version of real time Final Fantasy Tactics, and to borrow a concept from it's red headed step child sister.

I don't know what future expansions are, but that expansion needs to introduce a type of Besieged, a city under siege you must defend or invade moderate to large scale. And it needs to have fort or border skirmishes with the opposing bad guys in that expansion.

We've had glimpses of what a large scale battle might be like with humans and npcs in the MSQ although these were solo and smaller scale. I am not advocating for 100s of players in one zone because that might cause stability issues, but maybe 50-100 per battle instance. Maybe once a month or once a quarter they can have special seasonal versions of Besieged or Campaign in addition to the normal always accessible ones.

Make a public Free Company city under sporadic attacks with npcs. This city has a public airship and submarine manufacturing site. The city will have doors, these doors are instanced housing that can be shared with multiple FC. There is a war room similar to squadron room, but larger. In this room FC can enter special missions(dungeons) like special ops. Relevant town NPC with good services can vanish when the city falls for a brief time.

(Personally I'm against FC alliances since this might encourage FC alliances to buy out entire wards for their own name)

Things I would like to see however:



-More FC Ranks. Bonus including more crest options, more chest space, ability to buy grade 3 buffs, and have 3 active FC buffs on at once.

-FC guest list. (Sorta like house sharing, but allow people who aren't in your company to have access to your FC housing stuff. i.e. summoning bell, armoire, npc vendors. Stuff like.)

-Auto promotions. (Ability to tell the game to auto promote someone for being in your company for X amount of time since most FC promotions revolve around that anyway)

-More space to write on the company board.

-A tab to fill out FC rules in-game

-A tab to fill out about us information that isn't the FC slogan. (character limit to small)

-Additional buffs for doing stuff with your FC. Example, +5% bonus leveling exp for being in a party with an FC member. +5% grand company seals from FATEs when in a party with an FC member. +5% Poetics on first time bonuses when your FC member has the bonus. Stuff like that.

-In conjunction with the previous one. Increase rare loot percentages per FC member in the party on out dated content. Such as ponies and birds. (Say like 1 or 2 percent per FC member).

-Option to teleport to another FC member's location. Similar to the Eternal Bonding Ring but for FC members instead. (With a cool down of course, and option to select who can and cannot teleport to your location to prevent abuse and stalking).

There are some really cool ideas in here! I for one am very interested in expanding the FC alliance possibilities! Quick question where did submarines get confirmed for 4.2?

Literally any battle content for FCs and FC alliances were announced way way way back in late 2.0 but were never expanded upon. Details confirmed were that you could teleport to each others houses and make use of their facilities. Either they dropped the idea or its just been sitting on a back burner all this time. :c

something to actually work on as a free company that can include as many people or as few people as you want.

potd 51-200 was kinda considered fc content by some as you needed a fixed group and kinda organised schedule for it. (unless of course you intended to marathon the whole thing in a single session via party finder) but it sucked cos it was so restricted to 4 people. so if you had 5-6 that wanted to go someone was getting left behind. or if you had 8 you were forced to split into groups of 4. so still not actually working together as a freee company...

there needs to be real endgame content that actually requires free companys working together and building bonds amoung there members. diadem didn't count either as it was just trash and often easier to just go in via duty finder anyway if you did want to go.

I'm really hoping to see the FC alliance option one day and the ability to have guests stay in your fc house!

I just want this game to take more ideas from FFXI in terms of FC/Linkshell group content. This game seriously lacks "Togethery togetherness" for FCs because everything we do can be ran solo in the Duty Finder, kinda boring. And unfortunately the things we can't run solo in Duty Finder aren't really worth doing...like Diadem...that's really the only thing we have after 4 years? Wow.

I'd like at least some sort of 24-man raid specific to FCs. Or somewhere to go and "progress" be it for gear or levels or w/e as an FC.(Hopes Eureka is something like this, but I don't get that feeling quite yet.).

As much as I want more FC activities, it's getting people to stick around near the end of the patch that gets tough. I'd like to get stronger FC buffs for completing an activity, but it may not be fair to the FCs that don't play much, especially ones that are small-dead.
