Petition: Make the Scion Liberator's Attire Dyeable

I know, not another one. But from reading through the various threads complaining about this not being dyeable, I saw a couple posts alluding to a post made by a Japanese moderator/dev about an 'official petition thread'. I gather there was one on the English side as well, but it seems to have vanished, if it ever existed at all. So, I'm gonna try and make one.

There's a lot of demand for this on the condition that it be made dyeable. Putting it on the table for $12 without that is frankly not worth the price. I've seen many that have opted not to purchase it because of that, myself included. There's also been significant demand to see the other NPC attire sets made dyeable as well, like Y'Shtola's attire, Thancred's attire, and even Minfilia's antecedent attire.

With that, please leave any comments below and we'll hope this takes off and the devs take notice.

Yes. They should make everything dyeable.

There are a number of outfits from the mogstation I'd like to see dyable, not to mention the things that are sure to be added later such as the dress Lyse wears in the 4.1 msq.

The developers "vision" of how our characters should look has to come secondary to our vision of how our characters should look especially if we are spending real life money on this. I personally refuse to buy anything in the cash shop I can not dye.

And while they are at it the developers should make every costume Male and Female capable. I know it is possible, they did it with multiple outfits already and even did it per race for the Hempen clothing.

This could easily be a massive source of revenue if they stopped being so bull headed and lazy about it.

All NPC outfits should be dyeable.

I believe everything should be dyeable...

Even though I already like how this specific piece is colored, I"d like the option to be there.

"Cosplay" is a terrible excuse for me.

All of these items should be dyeable. More customization options.

I dont understand SE, the game is made for the players, let the players decide what is cosplay worthy or not. Creating glamour that dyable option will only increase sales, why cut off potential customers?

This. I would buy more outfits from the mogstation if they are dyeable. Are you listening to this SE? That means more money for you.

Im thinking the same, when buying an expensive costume for cash, it should be dyable. Else it is not flexible enough to be combined with different glamours.

Even if authenticity is their rationale. No one cares, especially when charging $12.

Everything should be dyeable and any item that has some kind of shiny surface effect(like Lyse's leg armour or the Ao Dai) stays shiny when you dye it instead of becoming a matte colour.

ALSO less "leather vest dyes Dalamud Red, white undershirt becomes pink".

So much of this. I'm not sure which is worst, non-dyeable or dyeable but looks like some weird, white filter is applied on the color. See Yuna/Far Eastern's Noble top for what I meant. Also the change in texture after dyeing.

I mean, they kind of lose authenticity the second you can wear a thing on a race other than the NPC's, so why is dye where they drew the line in the sand?

Also, someone probably already mentioned this in one of the Lyse thread, but why is the white portion of the top and bottom a mismatch? I must admit I've never notice this before until they put the set up on kupo store, but now that I did, I can't unseen it.

If I'm not mistaken, the Lightning gear wasn't dyeable at first, and they made it so you could dye it. I don't know why they couldn't make the other NPC gear dyeable as well. I would love to be able to dye Lyse and Y'shtola's outfits msyelf.
