That is just sad.
I would suggest reporting this on the bug section so that the devs can review and address the issue altogether.
Did you expect anything less than hacking? The whole PvP from The Feast to Sealed rock, has always had an insane amount of hacking that Squeenix does not police or bother to even take a look at. Most of the Feast players are win-traders too in the last 3 seasons.
It sure is. I couldn't believe my eyes, as I watched this Oppressors move that fast.

@0:47 you captured the name of the player: Desudesudesu Nee'chan
*Jokingly* It would be a sight to see speed hack on the rocket fire rates.
It barely lasted a week...
Perhaps it did not last nearly as long and OP was just the first to bring it up...
I hope anyone who tries this gets banned quickly. This is the kind of thing that makes it pointless to play and destroys the reputation of a game.
OP is more likely to get banned for (inadvertently) naming the obvious hacker than the hacker is for actually hacking.
Honestly, that's what we need around here. I get that it's against the forum rules, but fact is, people are getting away with it because we're all forced into silence AND clear, obvious evidence is discredited on the possibility of it being edited. First, no one's that good. Second, IF the evidence were faked, that person just submitted a false report, and would only get themselves in trouble.
I'm sick of watching the same people we KNOW are cheating just get away with it because we're all supposed to play nice and not tattle. Screw that, I'm paying for this and can't even get a little timely customer support for an issue that's been going on for over 2 years already? Nah man.
Name them. Name them all. Their $15 isn't more important than mine, especially not when I'm actually abiding the rules.
Well if SE is zero tolerance of use of third party programming as they claim in their Policy, the OP did not expose the players Account info as that would be a violation of ToS. Since only in pvp you can't see an opposing player's game name over their head, what's the difference, in capturing footage of them cheating in the open world? If this was an altered video and a player was then exposed I can understand the OP being in violation. That just doesn't make sense. Players are sick of the hackers and cheaters.
He could edit that name off from the video.
Yeah if he was the one who posted it here in this forum. I am and I read the forum guidelines
Forum guidelines even states to not use "Personal Info".
And I quote "Please do not post any personal information about yourself or anyone else in the forum. Even if you know each other in real life, please use the character name or user name (temp. term) instead. If you witness any unwanted divulgence of personal information, ask the poster to remove it or report it by using the "Report Post" feature.
* Personal information can be defined as any data that explicitly reveals the real–world identity of an individual, and can include the following: name, home address, age, birthday, telephone or cell phone number, e-mail address, etc. Personal information can also be consisted of a combination of information that can identify an individual.
kind of surprised that your surprised. pvp has been a cesspool of cheating and bots for such a long time now i figured it was just common knowledge.
it's been just queue and pray for the seemingly 10% chance you get put on the team that's actual players that are actually trying to win for longer than i remember
no mather what evidence we show SE wont ban any bots, simply bc of they are subscribing (or buying mogstation items) to the game. So yea. Money >>> your enjoyment :>
This is why we should be allowed to submit video evidence. No one is going to be able to accurately edit another character's name while all this stuff is happening in the background AND the character is moving. And even if they did manage to do it, you could easily tell it had been edited.
The "issue" is that we know it's happening, we can clearly see it's happening, but SE effectively shoots us all in the foot when it comes to proving it. Can't name them here, can't submit video (though I HIGHLY recommend sharing the video on your YT pages anyways so as to raise awareness to everyone else of this matter being left unhandled). Unless the cheaters turn themselves in, or are dumb enough to admit it in chat, they have nothing to go on, despite the better means of proof.
The only thing identified about the hacker was that it was a bard, since enemies don't have name plates like in Frontlines. I don't think OP has broken any forum rules for posting this.
Most of them, no. But people who've participated in the seasons know who the repeat wintraders are. One even posted in the thread about wintraders. Not hard to guess who, but again, it's not what we see or know, it's what SE sees or knows, and sadly, they see little and know less because of their own restrictions.
SE should integrate the 4.2 Battle content "battle Recording" into "PVP". If no one has heard of it yet, basically SE plans to implement a feature that allows you to replay a video of the battle content you just went through, if they integrated this into PVP they could easily catch cheaters with much ease since they would be able to use their own in house recording to check for cheaters.
Players Could report along with the names of the character and send the recorded video to a GM to skim through the match, even giving time stamps to help the GM find the point in time in which the cheating occurred.
Well yeah bots have been around since the beginning. I have not seen this speed hack before, which to me is new method the cheaters could use to take advantage of the new pvp mode.
report plox hax no bueno
Untrue. While there are some repeat offenders, the majority of the competitors have played fair. They've also actively reported these wintraders, yet nothing's been done about them after even 6 seasons now, save for one of the most notorious ones being banned last season, and likely only because he stopped being subtle about it.
But the majority of competitors are not wintraders. Let's get that straight right now.
