Master Books II -help as 60lvl

I'm so salty for it....

I had all Master Book I.

First I tried HQ "Intricate Silver Brocade" as myself 60lvl weaver

BUt, still me failed.

Now 60lvl is different rotations

and I have all crafting. If you help me with rotations as 60lvl. I want get all master books II

So, I gave up. When I go try level 70lvl

That rotation has you picking up four tricks of the trade in a row. You can't plan for that. They are rng based.

It's more of a flow chart approach, an "if I have this available, then I will use that..." "if I have this many inner quiet stacks, then I proceed; otherwise use reclaim and start over" but this approach is better, although you may find it frustrating because it is manual and not a pre-constructed macro type approach.

Depending on your gear and cp, you may not be able to use a pre planned rotation, the manual crafting will give you better success, and you'll get a better understanding of the craft.

You will probably want to upgrade your gear to at least the adept's and/or lvl 59 gear. Adept's gear can be gotten from the moogles or red scrip exchange. The 59 gear can be bought from merchants, found on market board or crafted. Pay particular attention to your main and offhand gear. Another thing to consider is using HQ silver brocade to help boost the quality if you aren't already.

What is your gear and stats for your crafters? I can give you some rotation help with that info. :)

Almost all I get HW's crafter-gears. (I bought with red scrip) 60lvl 150-180ilvl and accessories 200ilvl. I don't still buy better tools.

The rotation you copied up there was used by a level 50 Weaver at 484 craftsmanship. But if you are level 60 with over 650 craftsmanship! There's absolutely no point in using so many Piece by Piece. It would be a complete waste of CP and durability.

Back then when I did these items, I had only 415 craftsmanship, 391 control and 352 CP, and I still got all the Master Book II within a few days of work (http://ffxivrealm.com/guides/ff14-ad...ie-tsukino.49/). You have more than 150% of my stats, so it shouldn't be that difficult for you. You really need to try to understand how each of your skills work. ChameleonMS's rotation up there of course will help. But even after you have the Master Book II by copying that rotation, what about Master Book III? Book IV? And now Book V is available too! I strongly advice against just blindly follow existing rotations... If you don't try to understand how your skills work, you're going to run in a wall at every single Master Book. I suggest you slowly digest each of your available crafting skills, put some more thoughts into it, and try to construct optimal rotations of your own.

Listen to Caimie.

Those MBII items were designed to be made at L50 with nearly perfect gear. You should breeze through them.

Well, tbh MB 3-5 do not require any real skill, just scrips.

But yeah, if you are somewhat serious about crafting, then learning what your skills do and making your own macros is probably the better idea.

I suck make macros. So. I go trying get 70lvl crafts and more easy.

Not to be unkind, but you should try to get better instead of asking for easy solutions from other people. Otherwise, what's the point of crafting in the first place?

Well, to be fair, he didn't seem to be asking for "easy solution". He just had absolutely no idea how to play the crafting game... which is a bit of a facepalm for a lvl 60+.

I'll make an analogy here. A certain someone had been copying his friend's homework all year long without giving much thoughts. After a year, right before the final exam, he found that he knew absolutely nothing about the subject. So he asked for help, and people just told him, "Read your text book from chapter 1 to chapter 65, understand the stuff, practice, and you will do fine!" The only problem is that there are 65 chapters, and he's trying to handle the exam which is already on hand... There is just no way he could digest all that stuff overnight.

I think your current problem right now is that you have no idea what your buttons do. I really, really, REALLLYYYY recommend you to read through each tool tips on the buttons. And then do some MANUAL crafting with them. No, not macro! There's nothing wrong with using macros. But using macros without knowing what each line means in the macro is BAD.

Please go to Chapter 10, 11 and 12 here, and just read through what each skill can do: http://ffxivrealm.com/guides/ff14-ad...ie-tsukino.39/. And then just craft something using those buttons. Seriously, you REALLY need to read those chapters, especially 11 and 12. It's a lot to read and digest, but you can't escape it anymore. You gotta face it!

The fact that you're still saying "I suck make macros" pretty much tells us all that you never do manual crafting, ever. If you don't do manual crafting, how do you make use of crafting conditions??? If you don't even know what crafting conditions do, then again, pleaseeee read Chapter 11.

Also, the fact that you "suck make macros" is because you don't know how to organize each skill in a meaningful way. What you need to learn, is how to form COMBOS using skills. Please read Chapter 12A, you will learn something there regarding how to make "combos". Once you understand how to make combos, then you just simply put them into your macro one line after another. Making macros is really that simple. To get good with macros, you need to get good with manual crafting first.

Just to show to you that I'm not just bluffing, I plugged the stats of your lowest class (GSM) into the simulator, assumed the use of HQ Baked Onion Soup and NQ Craftsman's Cunning Tea, and just randomly jammed a rotation out of it. The results are below:

As you can see above, even without using a single Trick of Trade, I ended up with 12x Hasty Touches before the Byregot's Blessing, and the final quality was 13814/8964... I started from zero quality, and didn't use any HQ mats here. These numbers are generated from YOUR own stats, and from your class of the lowest stats. Of course, on the progress side, I have 800/801 in the end, so it would have botched. But it just means you could add a little bit more craftsmanship. OR, even easier... just use Standard Synthesis instead of Careful Synthesis II:

As you can see above, the Standard Syn is fitted into the rotation and still under the protection of Steady Hand. So it won't fail.

Again, if you don't know how each piece moves on the chess board, there is not much point of playing chess. Similarly, if you don't know what each button does, there is not much point of playing the crafting game. I strongly urge you not to just copy the rotation I gave you above, but try to digest it. Understand what each "icon" there means.

Pretty much all that. The biggest wall facing you now is the fact that you're high level with a pile of skills (and hopefully cross class skills), a daunting, near-overwhelming amount of information to actually learn. It's a lot easier figuring out how things work slowly as you acquire each skill and how they fit together before you get more. By the time you're approaching the end, you've been adding pieces to a puzzle you never solved to begin with. (now I'm imagining a small puzzle set that can combine with other small puzzle sets to form a larger picture... that'd be cool.)

Getting ready macros from the internet over learning how to and making them himself is the definition of asking for an easy solution. Since it removes the need for spending time and effort learning how to play, it's "easy". But eh, not worth the effort arguing over semantics and definitions.

TBH, I'd suggest him to get some level 50 gear to drop himself to the approx stats he would have at that level and experiment with some easy MB1 stuff, like the precursor crafts for the MB2 items (hooks, cogs and whatnot). Having learned the hard way (no leve kits bought, rather little reliance on BT quests) I honestly have no idea how to cram Crafting 101 from an already high level.
