Am I the only one who wants to use a whip?

I want a dps job (or even a tank job) that uses a whip. I would main it instantly. Anyone else?

lol, Nah man I want a 100% WHIP, no hybrid stuff. I just want to beat the hell outta people with it.

Maybe for a beast master DPS class? That would be interesting.

If they ever introduce beast master, they historically have used whips as weapons. They could theoretically do it for blue mages too, though the only blue mage to use a whip was Quistis.

I'm hoping for Blue Mage as a DoM tank with a whip. Because whips are cool and I'd like to see a DoM tank.

I think that would be fun! The whip user could be a mid-range damage dealer with several ccs like Trip and Whip to the Eye. She doesn't need to get as close as melee but her attacks shouldn't have the range of a caster's. In addition, the whip user could pull herself across the battlefield with a special attack to either get out of an AoE or to put herself into a more advantageous position.

I'm just stumped for what to call the job. "Whipper" just doesn't do it for me and "Beastmaster" doesn't fit.

I was thinking Dancer but fans...

Dancer with special chain whips and have decent range for melee attacks and dance steps are similar to NIN mudras(also shares gear with NIN) to preform special dance moves and LB3 is called Dancing Mad(those who ran Weeping City should have an idea as to what it would look like)

There was an old sheet that went around with a "Flayer" job listed. Whip-wielder. I'd like to see this realized.
