Just wanted to say holy smokes! The designs are top notch and the people who put in the effort did a really amazing job!
So if there isn't already a thread - here's one from me to you.
Thanks -
You did great!
Hope to see it in the game!

I want so many of those items. Gimme SE. I have a mighty need.
The winners were truly amazing, and I'd love to see a good number of them make it in-game.
I'd love to see many of them in-game too, I hope SE will make them happen! (Some of them look a bit hard to implement though).
One of mine made it into the winner's circle! Funny enough, it was a last-minute idea I crudely sketched out (the zen rock garden). The one I spent a lot of time working on didn't win - but probably because it would've been complex.
Here it is: the Cyclops Lamp of the Aquapolis:

I need so many of these furnishings! I keep envisioning them at my house and ugh... I need so baddddd. That canopy bed is life.
So many waterfall/fountain things. I NEED THEM ALL. Also the curtains. Those are a definite need!
I want all these pieces! Specially the kitchen ones. They are all amazing!
A good 75% of that stuff should be in game, specially any more carbuncle items, but those fountains, that bathtub, the kitchen stuff, the curtains, all brilliant, not sure about that floor aquarium but I can dig it either way. Wagers we see any of it by end of next year?
The behemoth throne looked great, it was pretty good to see someone make that with a 3D modeller.
I'd really love to see all the 100 items put in the game over time. They were all so good for adding so much more life to housing.
I've seen some people's concepts that were excluded but were far more beautiful/original/detailed than some others that made it through. The feeling of unfairness is strong and hope will not discourage players from trying again with the next contests.
I find it a little odd that the only Xaela/steppe-themed furnishings we have currently are the Mol banner and morin khuur.
I hope they'll actually add some in the future, since others obviously want them judging from some of the winning entries.
Most of these items could renew for sure our house design, so thank you for your hard work.
I hope SE will implement many of them in the game.
Goodness there are so many splendid designs, I can't wait to see them all in the game!
Personally some stand-outs for me were the WHM Job Gauge Lamps, the fancy bathtubs, the couple of wall waterfalls, that GORGEOUS multi-leveled stone fountain, the fat cat furniture and the Steppe stuff.
Gratz to the winners ^^ There where really gorgeous designs.
Mine didn't got in this time.
I suppose it's because I took a double risk, it had animation and it needed to have a race specific pose. So way too expensive for SE taste ^^

There is only one thing who bothers me...Each time SE puts a lot of criteria and if not followed you would be disqualified => need a turn around, need a view from race point of height, etc. But half of the ppl never follows the rules and still get to the win. :(
So I wonder if next time I shouldn't bother so much and do more drawings but with way less efforts on the rules.
As someone that participated on all those contests I can say SE does not publish everything we send them on email. Gear contest at least we could send TWO pics and they only posted one of them on the featured page. I got to the finalist list for healer gear contest and they didn't post the info I sent via email, not even the gear's name, only my image.
This time they posted the name of the furniture I've submitted (mine is the oriental wall-mounted shelf), but I bet if I didn't squeeze all the drawings on one single image file they would probably post only one of the images.
For furniture, the rules were: "1-3 images: front design (required), side design (required), and back design (required)". If people sent more info on a second or third pic there is a chance those were not published. I do think sometimes they do disregard rules (and they shouldn't imo), but I would rather follow them to be safe than work with the possibility of SE ignoring their own rules. Nothing is worst than being disqualified because you didn't follow a single rule.
