[Suggestion] Maid and Butler Sets

Can we please have these added for players to access via cash shop or rewards, or some way that isn't an outdated promotion? Thank you! :D

I can't go another year without a way to obtain them. I'm gonna start having withdrawal symptoms I didn't even know I had.

Kind of rude to expect new players can never have the item, too? What about someone else getting it reduces your fun/use?
Besides, the people who didn't do the promotion will have waited a while to get them, and those who did it got more instant access.

They added the moogle attire set despite it being promotional, locked behind a fanfest iirc. However, it did take it several years to get to the mog shop, so unfortunately, I think you'll still have to wait a while.

Actually it was kind of rude to make european players jump through that many hoops considering the ease of the NA and JPN offers. Also did any promotion ever happen for AUS/NZ players on Euro servers? Pretty sure they'd appreciate a chance to own these if not.

I don't understand why people get so butthurt if someone else has the same items they do. "Hurr durr I had to do this other thing to get it, and you don't derserve it because I'm special and you're not!!!'. Puh-lease... Its a glamour. Who even cares if other people can get it via the Mogstation? Make them pay 20$ just like we had to for the promo and bam, problem solved.

Damn special snowflakes around here need to get off their high horse. You're not special just because you were subscribed for the promo.

The real issue with these items is the Butler outfit is way cuter than that hideous Housemaid dress and I can't wear it as a female.

I'm aware and my heart goes out for them, it really does. But I don't see how SE's failings to conduct a proper promo for the other countries adds exclusivity to an event.

They could restart the butler/maid promo tomorrow and it would simply re-open the same old issues they had in the first place. Wouldn't make the suit anymore special then when it came in the first place.

As someone who has these, go ahead and put them on Cash Shop. Legit doesn't bother me if others can wear something and be happy as well.

I rather they add it to Mog Station, the way i won't feal cheated even tho I'll forget about it by the end of the day.

Needs adding to the cash shop for those in countries where their promotions were promised then cancelled after all of the alternatives had already finished.

Well if they're going to make special items available to everyone, why the heck would I participate in their promos?
If they suddenly sold the falcon mount in the MS I pretty much can unsub and resub all I want and wait for it to be available again. If they sold relm and the enterprise minions, why would I bother importing a Japanese Artbook to my country since it's so expensive. I don't know, it would be a slap in the face to all of us who did went through the trouble of acquiring it.

Then again, SQEX likes to cater to the masses, and the super casuals, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was made available.
I've never complained about the stuff that was released way before I began playing that I will probably never have access to.

You get them now rather than later, that's your bonus. It's like participating in the holiday events, but next year they put them on the Mog Station.

As long as I can get the Cloud and gear that came with the second promotion, I'm all for it.

^ this. I don't see why players have to be punished or force to go through the same inconvenience as others had before them for the mistake/decision made by SE. I might be a hypocrite for saying this since I didn't need to jump through the loops of buying some magazine or hunting down dr. pepper for my promo items, but I will say with confidence that even if I did, I'd still be happy for the rest if they didn't need to go through the same crap I did to get the shiny loot.

I have these items and I honestly would like to see it made available for everyone in some way. A friend of mine wants it and was on a pause to avoid burning out and missed it. I know some people think "that's his problem"; but he's ready and willing to grab it if they made the gear obtainable again.

It's not. I don't pay extra to play the seasonal events. I did pay extra to get exclusive promo items.

They already said that they will eventually put them into Mog Station.

I wish they would bring it back soon. I came back right after the event concluded and I have been slapping myself since.

There is probably some legal reasons why they can't just put this on the Mogstation yet.

And would it not trample on the entire "exclusive " thing? I am pretty sure it would make a lot of players angry that their sets are no longer exclusive as they were advertised.

They should put all the PvP gear and mounts in the mog station because I don't want to do PvP to get them.

A closer comparison would be the Moogle Attire which was awarded by purchasing a stream worth 20$. It was later put on the Mog Station 2+ years later for 12$.

I'd imagine it's been about a year since this maid and butler attire was available, giving a suitable enough exclusivity time to make up for paying extra. Moogle Mount is generally 30$, but during the sale it was 21$, thus people who got it later payed less as with other Mog Station items. Doesn't feel that much different than that.

One thing that also must be understood were that these were items intended to be exclusive to Japan, and they attempted to service other countries in a similar fashion due to fan outcry. Them being available on the Mog Station at a later time doesn't bother me in the slightest because I got a year worth of exclusivity.

ya these should be on the mog stastion as account Wide. they seem to drop the ball for EU players, and most of the NA promo can be abused. idm ppl paying 5-10 on the outfits.

Being super casual has nothing to do with it. The fact you even started dropping labels or generalizing a group of people truly shows how ridiculous your viewpoint is. There is nothing "super casual," about not paying for promotions or not being subbed for a certain amount of time. There are many reasons someone could not pay for something, and dedication is easily at the bottom of that list.

I genuinely don't even see why anyone would complain about them adding either of these to the mog-station. If it was so important to people, I'd see more people wearing it as glamour. In both forum posts and in-game, I hardly see anyone wearing either outfit. People will just be petty about it despite that, I guess?

Why participate? the set was a give away. I bought something in Amazon and got the set. For this promotion, you didn't directly pay for them.

I bought gift card for Nintendo eShop and enjoyed the game I got. Got the Maid set as bonus.

For people who want in Mog Station, they'll buy them directly, it's not a give away.

That is why we participate in promotions when we have a chance.

Tell that to EU players. Think we wanted that magazine? It was 2016, who even reads game magazines anymore? You got something you enjoyed. We didn't even have a choice.

The way it is now, you have to wait at least a year before old items become available on mogstation. Just give it time :D

My Buttler set is still in my moogle mail since they don't fit the armoire and I can't wear! :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

While I would much prefer everyone being able to wear everything, I wish they would at least use their own technology to have two different appearances for the same item rather than bloating the number of items to make genderlocked versions. I feel like a weirdo with an unwearable maid outfit stuffed in my retainer's inventory, yet when I go to glamour my squadron (all-female, may as well enjoy the superior visuals female characters enjoy somehow!) hardly any of the items I usually carry around will fit them and I have to play a tedious fetch quest minigame of retrieving all of the gender-locked non-armoire-compatible junk from various retainers to assemble an outfit. If we could share the same clothes instead of doubling the inventory burden it would be very nice. I really don't care if the male version is still called a 'housemaid' outfit or something, and the icon doesn't match for lots of items already.

Genuinely no idea how people who fantasia between genders often cope with this chaos.

After reading this tread I kind of hope it never gets added to the mog station (I don't have it ether). A lot of you guys sound really entitled. You claim that it isn't fair that you can't get the items, but then dismiss those who say it would not be fair to those that did the event. It was a bonus for those playing at that time. Do you guys also think the Shantotto minion should be put in the mog station? what about the slime hat?
