more Payment methods

i would love to have paypal as a payment method, i can't buy crysta nor have Ultimate Pay as a method,
Click and Buy is the worst payment method i have seen, first it won't accept any of the addresses i put in, second it charges my card two random amounts then tell me to go to my bank and find out those two random amounts and if my bank dosn't support EUR im doomed, i can't believe SE only giving me Click and Buy as the only payment method i can use. i want paypal please!! or at least anything else then that Click and Buy... right now im stuck i can't pay because of this so SE please add paypal for everyone. (i already posted but was in wrong place sorry)

Deducting 2 random amounts from your bank is the norm to verify your bank account, I had to do it with my paypal account at first, also your bank will accept the euro, either C&B or your bank will convert it, and if neither do then you should change banks because they dont recognise a such a widely used currency.

Also where are you for them not to accept your address? seems a little wierd.

What nation are you connecting from Moxas?

For the U.S. (territories may be in question), you should have an option to Add Crysta. But if another country, I am uncertain what options you may have (or not have).

Can we please keep this in the thread that actually has a rep response?

Click and Buy tried to charge an unauthorized amount even after I had verified my account with them - some people subscribing to FFXIV have been double-billed by CnB too.


Therefore, CnB is not a reliable payment option. Ever.

Seconding Delsus's post, if your bank doesn't recognize euros and you foresee you may do purchase from an international vendor, the bank may need to reconsidered.

im from saudi arabia... the middle east, as i heard there's no option to add crysta in all EU, only way we can go in C&B, and im pretty sure im not the only one wants C&B gone.

I have 500 crysta an I am in the UK, so yep EU can get crysta, not sure on some countries, but UK can do I expect most others will beable to.

Whether or not you get crysta depends on your country, not your game's region.

Middle East... sadly that explains it. SE have made the decision to not set up Crysta in most of those countries, as well as most of South-East Asia.

I live in Saudi Arabia as well, and really, it sucks we have only C&B for payment and I looked up in google and seems alot of problems been going there about their company, also we can't register cause the site asks for a street number as a must, in Saudi we don't have street numbers, nor that we have an actual address, its just B.O Box and ZIP code that's it, and I fail to see the reason why we can't use crysta to pay for the service, we can actually buy Crysta, I looked it up, using a pre-paid card we have here called One Card, but we don't have the option to pay using Crysta.

I really hope Square Enix fix this, I really wanna play the game with my friends, I've been playing FFXI for almost 10 years, sucks that I can't play FFXIV for a reason like this, I do even have a paypal account...

It's safe to buy from Puerto Rico (a territory). I'm guessing the others are fine, as well.

I'm sorry but this isn't "another one of those threads" as I looked around and found none with our problem, our problem is WE CAN'T PLAY cause we CAN'T PAY. Sure, we can get Crysta, we can use paypal, but when we go on our account management page, we got only one option for payment which is Click and Buy which we CAN'T REGISTER ON, this isn't the kind of issue that you would say they are working on it, how can you make a payment option for countries that CAN'T use it.

Sigul, here is a few links to similar threads. This has been happening since the game has launched, since forums were made available I have seen this over and over again. Square is working on an alternative payment, but its going to take a bit to implement. In an ideal world, it would have been made available at the beginning of charging... But that's not the case. I'm sorry you can't play, I would be extremely upset myself.

Heres to hoping for a solution to our problems in the near future.

buritoslicer, no one complained about payment when the game was f2p one year ago, these threads made once SE start charging us, we made our account in C&B and it was ok, but now C&B temporary blocked my account for some reason and i can't confirm my CC now, i called them and they asked me to send them my bank statement and a copy of my ID and to fill some application, my question is: if i send them what they asked for, will i have the chance to pay now? i guess i have to wait for next week and see if there is any news about the new payment system, otherwise i will try again.

Another one of those answers. You cannot expect those having this issue to wait patiently now after already waiting patiently for months.

It's a tough situation to be in, especially when people want to play. Since March "2011" these threads have been popping up, and that is an undeniable fact. I mostly ignored them because of the FTP status of the game, but now that were P2P and SE said they are working on an alternative method... It wouldn't make sense for them to take their time on it, they are wroking as fast as they can to get more paying customers.

LazyBarakat, Eyn, Sigul, you guys have it rough no doubt, but as they say, "All good things come at the proper time." Keep your eyes posted on the Lodestone, something will pop up eventually. Sorry you can't enjoy the service :(

Buritoslicer, I appreciate your concern and feeling bad for us, but you don't have to justify Square Enix's plans, we want an immediate action done to our problem, they had alot of time to set up the payment system and this is the results.

yeah as from what i heard players were complaining about this since release and they still didn't fix the damn problem lol! and makes me think that they might wait a few months untill they add new options.

what the hell is this... its been more then a week since charge and still nothing about the new payment methods, this is a nightmare, whats taking them so damn long? are they even working on it? hell they probably don't give a damn about the few of us left out, they better do something reall soon or i'm gonna start punching some ppl O_o
