New PvP rewards and lack of players.

Here we are AGAIN!

4.1 introduces new weapons, collar rewards for tiers, and we still have no players for that.

No decay system, top 100 will stay top 100 with no need to worry or play another ranked match ever again, the newly introduced 4v4 practice matches will make sure of that.

It's the 3rd time i get to start PvPing a few weeks later for personal reasons, and again there are NO PLAYERS. I can sit on queue for 5 hours and I won't find a match.

SE, if you hate PvP so much, why don't you just remove it entirely? Or else make these "2 weeks no-life" rewards achieavable with certificates.


Either way, we need pressure on ranked players so everyone keeps playing!

Yeahhhh. 40+ min queues all day long. At this rate I won't get another match until the season ends.

A lot of people are focused on housing related stuff today.

It will pop again after ppl finish their PVE stuff , there are alot of gold/plat players trying to climb ^^
You really queue on patch day and complain in official forum for no pop? Really? lol pls.

If you are literaly starting from unranked, i advise you to queue as healer until you reach gold rank. Because if you queue other jobs it will be longer for you to get matches at low ranks.

No need to be negative.. Practice mode 4v4 is REALLY GOOD step for everyone that want to test new abilities/changes or practice other jobs.
If you are worried about points decay. Im sure SE will implement that later on. They are improving PVP but at slow rate just be patient.

Agree, if you think how was pvp years ago you will realize how much better is became right now, is not perfect yet, but I think SE have done a really good job so far.

good patch, until the end of the season, I can not play normally, yesterday waited 2+ hours, today waited 2+ hours

depends on the mode, but as abbas said, people now are more into the new pve content, then they will eventually get bored and go back to pvp, just fyi information current season is ending soon and there is an increase of pvp activity when season is close to end, this for feast. As for frontlines it usually pops, in your case omega then chaos datacentre, roughly around 12.00 - 24.00 everyday

on the feast if you are low tier so bronze/silver, or worse unranked, your queues are definetly longer, you may want to try out a different role

At me rank Platinum, even with this rank I can not find group. I do not know how to play other roles, and besides the healer nobody is there, and it's extremely difficult for them to play.

What you mean, trying to attract ppl to sit in queue over 1h just for few ugly weapons which golds and diamonds will obtain the same time?

Gives me time to contemplate why I'm queuing in the first place. So that's nice.

What is going on with the ques? I mean I get that a new patch just came out, but for the past two days I've tried to que for ranked I just ended up sitting in a 5 hour que before giving up. Same thing happened today only this was for 6. Are people just not queing anymore or is this something to do with how they changed matchmaking? Kinda bummed cause I had some time off to play. You'd think you could get at least one match? :confused:

If u read the first replies on the thread u will see all the reasons why ur queues are long

I dunno... those weapons look pretty cool. Especially the monk Freddy Kreuger-esque ones.

It's late in this season. Most players are either stopping to preserve their spot on the leaderboard, or if you're lower ranked, players at that same rank are fewer.

There's also both 4v4 Training and cross server custom matches, which has proven to be quite enjoyable. Everything we enjoy about the Feast, and WITH chat! (Customs, not Training). In all honesty, I'd much rather play those than ranked as it is now.

It's just natural that queues get longer since they tightened the matchmaking criteria. I'm not sure how this could be a surprise to anyone.

They need to release the rewards the day the season comes out so people ACTUALLY PLAY.

Unfortunately the only way to do it is if you queue in the first week of each season.

On Elemental the queues were very active the first 2 months. That more than enough IMO. Would I like it to keep being instant pops? Of course. But we all need to take a break sometime.

It doesn't help that, unless there's some major change or addition that calls for it, there's usually no preseason, and the next one begins as soon as the previous one ends. So without rank decay, and for the sake of not risking their spot or burning out, many players find what they feel is a comfortable stopping point during the season, and leave it at that.

Gotsa agree with lumi, its been active for us in elemental up to the point of 4.1 . The problem here imo though has more to do that they decide to implement drastic changes to the match making and class changes right smack in the middle-late season. Sure these changes are nice but why would you implement them this late? shouldn't this be done in the preseason or near the start of the season? combining it with patch 4.1 makes absolutely no sense in the competitive field. People are already used to the +2/-2 ranks and the balance/unbalance of the classes. Forcing such a drastic change only makes people weary and once they see the lengthened queue times this late in the season, most give up and your left with the same people playing preventing a competitive climb. The lack of a decay system also enforces this.

If we started off with these changes, we would still be relatively active by now.

Please fix the que times! Save us Yoshi!!
