So I have Veteran Rank 1 in my account and I have NOT received the Advent Attire. I'd like to know why.

I would like to know as well what "shortly after the update" means. On September 11 my resub went into effect and I received my Wild Rose items. Tantalus and Leonhart were both past that reward tier in the old system, but I more than qualify for both now. I have nothing in the mail, and Jonathas only has my previously gained items and no glamour sets at all--the only armor he has are the goblin and chocobo heads. My FC leader received the Strife gear in the mail today when he logged in, while myself and others haven't seen anything. So it seems a bit inconsistent.

Yeah, i'm in the same boat. i was up to the Tantalus Set for Resubbing ( next resub would have gotten me them) and now that they adjusted it...i'd like to know an ETA on how long it will be before I get that and the Leonhart outfit. Jonathas has nothing new for me...so...I've got no idea what is going on.

Make sure you don't have old mail from square. You can only have like 10 before it can't send anymore. So delete the mail you've already received. It took two days for me to receive my vet rewards and others are in the achievement guy in gridania. Be patient and you'll receive~

They revamped all the veteran rewards, so you get all outfits now in under a year and you can get the other items (minions mainly) using your achievement points:
