PVP is bad. It's like we are now playing Paragon in a bad version. And they are trying to justify about eSports.
I have a lot of conflicting emotions about this.

Miqo'te got it pretty bad with this hair.
Is anyone else's character sheet preview of their character really aliased and jaggy now? At 100% mine is unless I crank it up to 200%.
I love the 24 man <3
and the new dungeon!!! The music!!! Everything!
Did the new command mission with my squadron. Tanks are terrible , DPS are nearly as bad, and the Healer is passable. That said it's very limiting in what it allows you to do. Honestly feels like a beta test for something still forthcoming.
I don't recommend using the alliance-building PF for this new raid for a while or unless everyone in each party knows each other.
If anyone rage-quits, you can't replace them and you're down that role for the rest of the run unless you all abandon. So don't do it with randoms in these learning phases. If you do this new raid with randoms I suggest sticking to DF so people can be replaced.
That bun hairstyle for Miqo'te is the worst thing ever. I have an alt based on Sailor Moon and was sooooo looking forward to checking how that hairstyle looked at her. Sadly, she's a Miqo'te.
On a more positive note, I had enough Ixion horns for all the new stuff they added. Now if only I could ride a mount alongside my mount and minion...

The new dungeon gear looks sweet for casters. Especially when you dye it. The new 24 man is really great too. But the 24 man raid gear is really bland IMO.
This newest dungeon has one of the contest winners as its theme so its special.
4.1 pros thus far:
- 24 man is fun (imo, difficulty on par with dun scaith
- new recipes look cool
- BABY ELEPHANT MINION ! ! ! ! ! !
4.1 cons thus far:
- 24 man gear is a little...simple. I get what they were going for, but that aesthetic kinda suits sub 50 gear more than new 70 content.
- squadron is basically a hard mode of the dungeon as the AI is derpy
Haven't seen anyone with the flying chair mount yet but I am eagerly awaiting it to fly past me and Im still working through MSQ so no opinions one way or the other yet
(Devil's Advocate) Housing!
They really spruced up the Fiend weapons
It's really not possible to talk about 4.1 without including housing since it was one of the major points of 4.1. And it's implementation was implemented poorly, on a system that is flawed and limited and just needs to be redone. The new hairstyle on miqo'te females, is pretty bad and I definitely feel like they could of done far better than what they did. Locking the new exercise emotes behind squadrons, was kinda dumb imho. I personally would of prefered to see special glamour rewards from that, not emotes. Emotes like them, which have been sought after for years now, should of been available to all. No opinion on dungeons/raids/pvp since I am not really into that stuff. Overall, I'm pretty disappointed in the patch right now. And I heard the hildibrand questline was the shortest yet. That there, is sad news.
The best part of the patch is it now warns you when your durability is low when queuing into something
Where's my Allied Seal -> Centurio Seal conversion!?
They took away the ability to increase the size of the NPC text boxes.
Supposedly there are more new emotes, but I can't find where to get them, aside from what was added to the regular list.
I look forward to new furniture once there is a way for me to preview it.
The veteran rewards will be nice, but I haven't gotten mine and neither has anyone I know.
Jokes about meatball hair aside, I quite like this patch actually - I really appreciate and love these QoL changes. I cannot do the new dungeon or the new raid until later this week (new computer yay!) but I will be content until then just crafting the new stuff and glamming all my alts and squadrons.
well i just did the new raid , it was fun i like it ^^ looking forwards to the next tiers of alliance raids ^^ didnt have time to test anything else out , coz i have much work to do ^^
Just tried out the new SMN. Amazing SE. A+ on changes. It's so fluid it feels like a new job now.
Anyone know where to get the new emotes like push-ups?
Warrior changes really make it feel it actually belongs in stormblood now. Before these changes it still felt like heavensward warrior, it really needed more things on the defense side. This is the funnest version of warrior I've ever seen thank you!
The male hairstyle is nice but the female one has no appeal to it for me. I hope they add more hairstyles like Make it Rain, something that's stylish, appealing to most, and on the modern side of things. These traditional/old hairstyles get old fast :(
FINALLY Sephirot weapon with the sephirot bird glow! I've been waiting for this since like 3.2. Seriously so glad it's finally added, I'll have to get all the versions for all my classes :3 this will give me a lot to do.
The main story is going at a nice pace, there's mystery to it now and the new lore behind it is just perfect. Really liking the "gears" that are turning in the story.
The update is great and I give them a lot of credit for staying creative and creating a rich world even richer
