Why will tomorrow start the payment?

Is anything changing tomorrow? are we getting a patch tomorrow? Why friday?

the same reason free trials always end - because the time to "try" the game for "free" is over.

If you want to play it from now on you will have to pay to play it.

Probably just because it had to happen sometime. They said they would give us time to experience the changes in 1.20 and they did.

Exactly. It's happening precisely because no changes to the game are happening now. You got a few weeks to see if the extensive changes with the 1.20 patch are to your taste, and now it's time to decide if you want to pay to continue playing.

My college semester payment is also due on the 6th, maybe it's some kind of end to a billing period.

well the free trial is actually starting as 2.0 launches, thats the real free trial, this is just for the people who want to pay for a beta w/ some story weaved in.

actually its for the players who enjoy the game as it is now and want to be a part of shaping what 2.0 becomes...players who dont pay will not have direct feedback access to the dev team anymore. =P

Why 6th? Why not 1st? So, if your subscribe for 6 months, your account expires on 6/7/2012? (that is if you start by 6/1/2012)
