Well first time I tried logging in, I got an error.
Second time, the launcher wouldn't log me in.
Third time, queue 1828....still waiting...

Got in, got my ward.

Tried to place my House, DC´d and waiting for queue 1k+

i swear to god, if my ward is gone after i login, i break something

Every single large and medium sold in under 2 minutes. Every. Single. One.

Smalls lasted a few minutes longer, followed quickly by the handful of relocated smalls in old areas. All in all, 25 minutes in, we're back to 0% vacancy.

I honestly might unsubscribe. All my hard work was for absolutely nothing.

Clicked start as soon as 3 am hit. Got into the loading screen and instantly got a server error booting me out of the game. Came back and saw a 3000+ Q and realized its over for me. Looks like I'm gonna play another game until 5.1 when they get another housing ward or SE get a clue and get some more houses.

Nothing left on Louisoix either, all gone.

People using teleport hacks, and you know people are going to re-sale these houses. I've been giving my money since the start and I think its time to stop. Worse then black friday.

All gone on Brynhildir as well. It was sickening. Anything larger than a small vanished in less than 4 minutes. Small ones stayed up for a while longer but those are garbage.

Again, SE made a junk housing system and they don’t care that a gross amount of us can’t get land.

I am extremely sour about this and I will blacklist even friends I have had for years if the my even dare mention they got a house, it’s that bad.

After 20 mins in on Moogle, everything was gone including the just opened plots from the movers. Now we have 170 ppl in Party Finder asking for a house offering up to 250 mil. This. Is. Madness.

I don't get what I did wrong here. I generally have no interest in housing in MMOs; Shirogane was different, both for my personal aesthetic tastes and for my character's headcanon origins. I scrimped and saved for months to gather up the gil I'd need to buy a medium plot for my wife (in-game and IRL) and me. I woke up early, patched in plenty of time, logged in as quickly as I could...only to run into a queue of 1248 people (yes, I remember the specific number), at which point I knew I was boned. I did everything right, and yet people with better computers and more money than me (in-game and IRL) were somehow more "deserving" than me. The kicker is that many of those people only bought the plots they did to resell, making even more money for themselves while those of us who actually wanted the house to use have to scrimp and save and pay even more (which, in the meantime, technically violates ToS if SE decides to randomly pay attention, so we're now risking our accounts if we do) instead of SE actually doing something with the housing system to guarantee that everyone who wants a house can get one--SWTOR managed that years ago, and that game sucks compared to this. Kicker #2: because they introduced relocation at the same time as Shirogane (rather than spacing them out like they originally said they were doing), a lot of the competition also came from people who already had houses and just wanted a change of scenery.

But whatever, I guess. The rich stay rich, the poor stay poor. Can't even get away from that in my escapist fun time, apparently. Also inb4 the trolls who'll just reply to this to try and tick me off more; I know better than to expect sympathy from MMO forum-goers at this point, and I have no intention of checking back to see where this goes. Vent over; have fun, y'all.

I'm upset too man but you sound like a lame petty person if you would be mad instead of happy for your friends. I got diddly and one of my buddies got a large, I was overjoyed for them.

They should have made it an auction at least to make it the biggest gil sink ever.

Why can't they make 240 more plots for FC only

Hyperion fully sold out within minutes.

Like a lot of you, I was at the ready with password typed into the launcher, soon as 0300 rolled over, I logged in, got to character selection screen, as soon as I tried to log in, "You have been disconnected from server."

Log back in 2 minutes later due to delayed launcher, 979 in queue.

I agree though, Large and medium sized houses should be FC only, at least for awhile, with smalls being purchasable by FCs or individuals. 1 person buying a large house just for shits and giggles potentially asses out several dozen people in an FC that could have all had said house.

If SE isn't going to release enough houses in the first place, they least they could do is restrict housing purchases to something that makes sense.

I expect to see quite a bit of backlash over this. Maybe Yoshi will get his shit together.

I think what's pouring more salt on the wounds is that the names of the owners we're seeing aren't even names we've met on the server. These are either alts, transfers, or people who haven't played the game in such a long time that nobody knows who they are. They could even be RMT hoping to make extra money by selling them off at a higher profit. It gives off a deflating feeling when you've worked hard and saved up money and by the time the login queue lets you in to find everything's gone to people you've never even seen or heard of in the game.

I just...I just don't even care anymore. People can be just evil and greedy and this is proof of that. You'd think SE would've learned from the sales of XBox One and Nintendo Switch - make something at high demand in limited supply, expect those with money to buy them out and resell them at a ridiculous profit.

Within 5 mins all houses were gone on Mateus! I really hate that SE made Mateus a destination realm with free transfers. Just saying this sucks. I had friends in tears because they had been waiting for Shirogane since it was announced then the empty server became over populated. Very sad day.

Here from Zalera, sold out after maybe 8 minutes with a population around 3-4K, who knows what the active population is, and inside that the number of individuals and FC's that had the cash to buy large houses. I jumped between 5 different Shirogane wards trying to snag a large, and came up empty handed...it's really depressing and leaves me feeling like I've wasted months of my time pulling together the gil I needed for a large house. 72 larges and I couldn't even reach one that hadn't been bought yet. I think it's time SE made a real change to housing, because we all pay the same sub price (relatively) and most of us (hopefully), worked hard to get the gil we needed to finally get a house that we wanted.

All my time and effort wasted...thanks SE, thanks a lot....

the link is not working.

Despite us getting housing in Shirogane, a Level 1 player still cannot come to our FC house. There is literally no location for a player to submit an application to the guild any longer.
