4.1 Launcher Error
When I start laucher today it appear like this

When I log in I get this error code

Push ok and login again I got this code

When closed launcher it show like 1st pic again what can I do to solve?

tried updating windows, run as admin, flushed dns etc. launcher version is different from game version, but that makes sense since i haven't been able to download update =/

Today I will re-install windows if it doesn't work I can't do anything.

Still no luck here.
There's a 5 hour maintenance tomorrow, crossing fingers that fixes it!

Same error. I uninstalled the whole game and tried back from the scratch. It still didn't fix it. I don't know what else to do.

I wonder if its a congestion issue.....like SE's download servers cant handle the load =/

I somehow fix this issue on my PC. at first I was trying to launch the game on both PC and my laptop which have window 10 and it give exactly same error. So I try to install game on my older laptop which run window 8.1 and it get thru.My PC and Laptop have the same Microsoft Account so and I think that the cause of the problem so I went back to it and try creating new user account for both my laptop and PC using my other Microsoft Account and I am able to run ffxiv now, I have no idea how this work but it worth a try.

Logged onto my comp with a different account and updated FFXIV without a prob!
However....when logging back into main account you still get the error code.
So I decided to wipe windows and see if that will fix the problem.....nope!

UPDATE
when logged into my main windows account, It says I cannot update.
It has me go through registration process...(EULA, etc).
BUT when I log onto another account on windows, and then log onto FFXIV,
it was able to download the update and install. The game runs fine. Figuring it
was a permissions issue with windows, I reinstalled windows to see if that would fix the issue. It did not.
The same solution is required to play. Log onto another account in windows.
Tried copying config file over to main account. This did not work either...
THE ONLY WAY I CAN PLAY is by logging onto a diff account...which I guess will work for now until there's a better solution...

Having the same problem on ps4 after hotfix.

Can confirm was able to start patch download, complete it then proceed to log into FFXIV without a problem when using a different windows user account.
Logging back into main/administrator account then booting up ffxiv launcher and trying to log in via that way caused this error to reappear, what could be the cause of something like this?
Anyways temporary fix for now, create or try using a different windows user account and booting up the ffxiv launcher from there instead. It should work.

I try to use difference account but not work then I reinstall windows and using offline account forgot about microsoft account it work for me now.

I got this issue escalated to Being addressed / currently reviewing under the Japanese technical support forums.

Ok, so... I fixed the previous error with the "making another account on Windows" resolution, but now that patch 4.1.1 is on, my new account is having the same issue again =/
I'll try making a new user, but... if everytime a new patch is on I have to switch account, I may have one hundred accounts =/ anyone found a resolution for good?
