Does somebody have trouble with dodging and mechanics?
So... are you complaining about other people dropping, stating your intention to drop going forward, or urging everyone to boycott this dungeon? Its a little unclear.
I constantly get this place in progress on any role I decide to go as for mentor roulette. What’s the big deal that’s worth taking a time-out for?
It could be that Bardam’s is the first SB dungeon where tanks actually need to be sort of up to date with gear. Bardam’s and Doma Castle...doing mass pulls in Augmented Shire with limited to no cooldown usage can be an annoyance for an unprepared healer. Or even an experienced one who doesn’t want to have to babysit a poor tank. That would be my guess.
Or OP is a princess who got her panties in a twist over something that's present in every single dungeon in the game - other people.
I really enjoy that place.
What's not to like?
The second boss , cant really stand it was cool the first time but now its muh so I hate getting this place but I never drop but I could see why someone would
The boss is a great change of pace. All mechanics no dps.
More should be like that. It's kind of upsetting that you can just brute force your way past most bosses mechanics as is.
Is a good place....
I keep getting it for leveling roulette. I have dropped at the start twice in a row now explaining to the party that it's my leveling roulette and I was hoping for a sub-50 dungeon for the large xp bonus at the end.
I like healing this dungeon and tanking it but whenever I go in as dps one of these tank or heal roles are fighting each other. lol
I wish I would get the higher dungeons for my leveling roulettes...nothing like getting Sastasha three days in a row on a 60+ BLM. While the final bonus isn't bad...I don't waste food on those ones as I'm barely getting 700 EXP per kill in there, and would benefit me a LOT more in the higher dungeons.
I will trade that for the constant copperbell i've been getting.... >.>
So far don't see a problem with it as a tank. I do not mind it one bit but then again..maybe people just want to log in and instantly hit 70. Like any dungeon it is ruined by people in a hurry most of the time.
Didn't get much in response so you started your own thread eh? You crazy kids!

The second boss was a test by the developers to see if casual players are able to perform simple Savage-level mechanics. Apparently they aren't. So they come here and complain about it. Probably due to the unfortunate chance that they ended up with 4 such players in the same party, none of whom were able to avoid getting hit by the stuff.
I've only managed to do this dungeon once while doing the MSQ--it's just never come up in roulette--but as I go to level a new tank job I will end up rolling through it. The only real issue with the second boss is if someone has poor reflexes in unfamiliar multi-AOE situations, and/or lag issues, which some of my friends have some serious trouble with in group content--to the point where one has given up this and a couple other games where he can't react due to lagouts; Susano normal was even a nightmare for him.
Overall though, it's not that bad once you learn the dance and timing, and it's a neat change of pace. If people are keeping up on gearing--and with other dungeons and vendors there's no excuse even for alt jobs--it shouldn't be that bad for the other mobs and bosses. I like to watch video guides before hitting these places, even as a refresher, and I get the feeling a lot of folks don't do that, or even find one they can read for quick info.
I honestly enjoy this dungeon. The second boss caught me by surprise first time through and I still love it. And I love being a ranged dps at the final boss; you can completely skip the wing phase just lbing them (and those good comms lol).
I only ever have issue when a tank decides they can tank everything before the second boss. That one bird enemy hits hard.
